The NAACP has issued a travel advisory for Florida, stating that the state is "openly hostile to African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals."

Now an attack on poetry.

Her poem delivered at Biden's ignoration is considered racist.

Whether intentional or not, DeSantis Law Enforcement Relocation program attracted hundreds of bad cops. We are talking about cops with a long record of complaints and cops with criminal records. And even more are coming. These are the cops Florida residents will be running into. This alone is a travel advisory to me.

Some. You don't?
Not knowingly. Any racists that I unwittingly know aren't open to me about it. Since they know I don't choose to associate with such people. That you admit that you do associate with racists speaks volumes.

I don't disagree. But you have to acknowledge that there is a serious problem.
I’ve never denied there is a serious problem
Your country has never enforced these laws in a consistent and fair way. Your have allowed your economy to become dependent on illegal immigration. Take that away and your economy will collapse.
You jokin right? Do you really believe the US economy will collapse if we began enforcing our immigration laws? Years ago, the work done by illegal immigrants used to be done by citizens, and the employers were forced to pay better wages. Now they are able to get around by hiring illegal workers, pay lower wages and keep the profits for themselves. And before you ask, food didn’t all of a sudden become cheaper when the agriculture industry became dominated by low wage illegals, houses did not become cheaper when the illegals took over the non-union construction industry, the prices remained the same because the employers just saw it as another way to increase profits. No my friend, if we enforced our immigration laws, those cheating the system by hiring illegals would have to find another way to cheat the system
You need these people. If you want to stop illegal immigration you need to greatly increase legal immigration. It is 2023, you can do that.
I don't think anybody has a problem increasing immigration or work visas, but illegal immigration is not an issue due to not enough legal immigrations allowed into the country; it’s a problem because too many cities have no interest in enforcing immigration laws.

If they are enforced strictly and suddenly, yes.

Years ago the work was done by unpaid non-volunteers from Africa. You have always had a underclass to exploit, since the beginning to now.

As you say, just another way to cheat the system.

Is this funny? Is it sad? Is it both? Perhaps the French word "triste" might be better?

The NAACP has issued a travel advisory for Florida, stating that the state is "openly hostile to African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals."

But this is the naked truth -- Ron DeSantis is invoking a very real war on a multiplicity of the cultures and communities that make up the US (and his state) for the sole purpose of establishing himself as the carrier of the Republican Flag in the 2024 election.

All the gains, all that we've learned about each other, all the ways in which we have tried to come together and appreciate one another -- all of it -- is to be thrown under the bus so that he can be MR. BIG in the US instead of the wispy-haired pumpkin.

Who are you, America? I mean it -- who are you?
The NAACP was formed by members of Republican Party, to help colored people overcome the systemic racism that the Democrat party had set up after the Civil War.. The Republican Party, formed in response to slavery, with the First Republican President; Abraham Lincoln successfully ending slavery. But the Democrat South said, the South shall rise again and did so in Washington, instituting systemic racism law; Jim Crow Laws.

Today many of the leaders of the NAACP are on the Democrat payroll. They are giving control over the flock, which they are allowed to exploit fro self enrichment. As the Durham report pointed out, the Democrats party has shown a track record of ignoring the truthful data and propagandizing the lie, since this tactic is now needed to keep blacks on their voter roles. This next cycle could be do or die for the Democrat swamp.

The latest Democrat con artist strategy involves making promises to the Blacks that they know they cannot keep, which is to force all the tax payers; guilty or not, make reparation payments for the slavery and systemic racism set up by, and which benefited the Democrats.

The sum is so high it will never happen. Even in California, which is very liberal place, the amount is a state budget breaker and would create hardship for everyone. However, the promise is needed to string the Blacks along for another critical election season. The NAACP members should impeach their leadership for helping to promoting this latest con job, that will divide good people and then backfire on the blacks.

As far as Florida, I lived in Florida from 2004-2008. This is when the flux of illegal immigrant started to appear in force, taking over the construction industry, due to their lower wage requirements, displacing good paying jobs for American Citizens, including the Black contractors. I was renting back then an even rental prices skyrocketed due to large blocks of illegal immigrant needing housing.

At that time Black roofers controlled that aspect of the building trade; hot and hard job, with good paying jobs and small businesses for Black workers. The housing crisis happened by 2008, much was due, in part, to many of the legal people, who had good paying Jobs, displaced by cheap illegal labor, unable to make mortgage payments. The force decline in lifestyle hurt many people. The Democrats helped to created the Housing crisis with their illegal labor favoritism. Their business cronies had cheap labor but labor was exploited at both ends; lose-lose for all labor.

Florida still remembers that, since at that time it had a large building boom. DeSantis is helping to make sure all workers are legal, so all workers can get back to good wages and benefits. The illegal workers also got screwed. If they become legal; work visa, they too will have a better pay scale and more protections by being on the books. Florida does not have a state income tax so this is not about generating tax revenue, but worker benefits. The Democrat spin is laughable.

Really? It’s all thrown under the bus? You think we’re back to pre-civil rights movement? I despise DeSantis, but let’s cut the crap and hyperbole on the other side. Doesn’t help.

I don't avoid people on the basis of a belief as we all are different. You, otoh, seem to have a very intolerant attitude about people, which I do believe is a problem, imo.

BTW, my parents were quite racist, but I loved them still.

Since it's a Memorial Day weekend, I honor those that served regardless of what they believed, Shaul.

The parties switched positions during the early stages of the Great Depression, whereas FDR embraced some of the programs of Socialist Pary leader Eugene V. Debs. Thus, back right after the Civil War and before, it was the Dems that were the more conservative party and the Pubs that were the more liberal party, and the latter started in Jackson, Michigan.

The final coup de trait occurred in the 1960's when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Laws into effect, and most of the Southern Democrats left the party and became Pubs.

You are so confused as it is the Dems, not the Pubs, that favor unions and not "cheap labor" from the undocumented.

Let me recommend you do your homework before posting, OK?

Looking at policies that Democrats designed, they're
no friend of black folk. In particular, their welfare system
is designed to keep them down. How?
If they work, benefits are reduced in greater proportion
than earnings. This keeps them either unemployed or
working in the underground economy.
Public housing segregates them, rather than giving them
vouchers. This not only keeps them away from wealthier
Democrat politicians & base, but it also inculcates the
children in the culture of welfare.

Racists are evil. There is a difference between associating and interacting. I don't associate with racist and evil people though I must sometimes interact with them. I am not intolerant of people but I am decidedly intolerant with the evil some people do. You accuse me of being intolerant but you are the one that is being intolerant of me.

You constantly twist things to suit your own agenda as this is just your m.o., and it's really quite pathetic, especially for one who claims to be an "educator".

I do think I've seen enough of your nonsense. Post what you want to twist again, I guess, but I have better things to do and others here that I'd much rather share ideas with.
