I hope this video will not be seen as a form of proselyting, it is only shared so people can understand Sufism
a little better.

He then goes on to say, that it's not about the "unity of being" and he brushes it aside saying that person [who believed that] engaged in a different kind of "tassawuf". Of course, this is as absurd as me going to a non-Muslim and saying, "all of Islam is simply belief in God". Not only is this not helpful, but it also hides many of things that are characteristic of being Muslim, it would be to throw away the advice of our Prophet and to throw away our history (which many Muslims are of course fond of doing). In the same way, "sufism" maybe in essence is this simple kind of self-reflection, but that is certainly not how it manifested in history. The manifestation of Islam in history (the Prophet and the 'golden age' after him) led to general human self-improvement, pushing forward our understandings of the Tutuapp 9Apps Showbox heavens and the earth, a rational and simple approach to the human condition and human belief.
