Christian but not like some ... Unorthodox I guess, but not really. I'm just me.
Sometimes, and likely due to the way the world is at present, I fear offending people. I don't want to cause offense (typically) but then when I myself feel as if I'm being attacked, I get in my defense mode. It's a mechanism I don't yet have the control I'd like over. Anyway, I'm one who prefers honesty over deceit or rather I prefer to approach life in an honest a manner I can, yet still have fun with the ... make ya think twice aspect of it all.

Anyway, I find certain types of woman to be tremendously attractive, others very attractive, others still attractive, and others still, not so attractive but some get dayum outta me by epic personalities. I put it like this for this reason: I don't want to offend, and I need be honest and true to me and to others, if only for sake of not sending mixed signals. With the trend in sex changes and whatnot, and I'll admit I've seen some very attractive he/she's who conjured a whoah! outta me until I could see the he in the she more clearly. I'm attracted to the female form, the curves, the scent, well nearly everything really when the female form is appealing to me. But ... for fear of offending anyone, I try not to look too hard or too long or too much at even those I find tremendously attractive. And with the deciet in the gender arena, I almost find myself turned off by the thought of viewing a he/she with any amount of attraction at all, being I'm a man who finds woman to be incredibly beautiful and attractive and appealing and having such a desire, and believe me ... it's an incredibly strong one, the idea alone that some would even dare to try to dupe anyone in that manner sickens me. That's honest and true and real.

I'm honest myself and I expect honest from others also, so ... maybe it best to stay on the porch .. so to speak, instead of showing my honor and adoration for the opposite sex for the simple fear of those of the same attempting to dupe me into being attracted to them. I'm not a homophobe, but I will admit to being more than just a little turned off by the very thought of ever desiring a guy. I can typically tell the difference, but then sometimes that too can be difficult, case in point the whoah conjured out of me until I could recognize more clearly the deceit, which turned the whoah into a hell mutha bleeping no mutha bleeping hell no way ... ya know? I wasn't with, but what I see online and also in town at times, it has me on alert and so if I wasn't already cautious enough, as if waiting 20 years for real honest to goodnes attraction and true, I now must deal with the wannabe's to. Ugghhh!!

You just need a Trump hat and you can scare them all off. Easy as pie. The good one's will know you have traditional values, and therefore coming flying out of the wings to talk to someone who isn't all mixed up.

I don't hate transgenders, but it's nothing but full time drag to me and drag is an act. Since it's obviously a performance, I don't have to pretend that it's real. :D If you expect me to you're the crazy person and I don't have to participate. In my world your gender is an objective fact of your birth -- anything contrary to that is an opinion, lol.

    Welcome to life.

If people want to transition, that's up to them and more of a personal issue and a journey. One that you seem to lack the sensitivity to understand.

Overall, I really don't mind though. There will be those that support LGBTQ+, those that don't. I make LGBTQ+ my life, so having a few people against it, as far as I'm concerned, just balances things out, provided they aren't going out of their way to harm anyone.

Since gender is a social and psychological construct (as opposed to sex which is biological with some psychological influences), how is playing the part by a transgender any different from any other social performance we participate in?

Wow! You are at that stage, then, bursting out in uncontrollable hormones and urges. Crashing and burning when some brilliant woman walks by, or stands next to you in a queue. Yeah..... I remember that........

I swim every morning at the local pool, do my 32 lengths and then head for the showers. A perfect woman swims and showers at the same times as me...... my idea of adorable. The reason why I can handle that easily is because my wife could be her twin.... that and my age which has moderated the crushing urges of youth.

My suggestion is, to focus everything that you've got on switching off the desires. Go to a yoga expert or something, turn off completely. And I tell you what, the day that you can switch off to all those crazy mind boggling desires you will be approached by your dreams quite often. I don't know why, but it's true. :)

Or, express those desires in a healthy manner. Instead of attempting to supress, examine (which appears to be what he is doing) what it is that bothers him about finding someone attractive who may happen to have been a male at one point.

It's their journey, so I tend to not judge, but then I do and will when/if the entails duping those who they know would be offended after finding out the truth of gender. I mean, if they prefer same sex, then wouldn't they prefer those who are known to be attracted to the same sex? It would make a great deal more sense to find like minded people. Otherwise, it's done out of spite and meanness, to which many would deem I violation worthy of retaliation. But yeah, I have no beef with anyone like that, aside from the possible spite and meanness aspect of duping others purposely.

I think maybe you misunderstand me and I mean on a monumental level. Ok, so you have a trans who looks like a she, the trans is getting off on duping guys out of spite and enjoys going into ladies restrooms to be the perv they are ... and with intent to ummm .... have their way with one of the more vulnerable while in the ladies restroom. In an old position I once held, we called people like that sexual predators and if you think for a millisecond that they pose no threat that would make you about the dumbest person on this planet.

With that said, I'm not looking to umm .. get involved. I enjoy the beauty of well .. beautiful woman and at my age, I tend to run if not drive 159 mph away from those who pose a risk of wanting more than a friendship casual relationship. At one time, yeah ... I desired the whole side by side lets grow old together one on one. I have nothing against those who still choose something like that.

I'm suggesting that I'm one of the pickiest and most cautious people you'll meet in your lifetime when it comes to intimacy and when it comes to the intensity I require ... So ... the dupers outta spite'rs and the don't want to offend hers out of respect hers, yet find you very attractive, just not sexually open enough hers for my taster's are not disliked by me unless the dupers are sexual predators who force others sexually, then and as many others would feel the same, it'd probably be better for them to have never existed than to do what they done if only to a single one.

Anyway, after 20 years of waiting to run into and/or meet someone who better fits my needs as a man, it doesn't ummm ... look too promising anymore, but then I'm not looking, but sometimes I do look when I can't help but be attracted to them like that, but then I also stray from that as well .. not wanting to offend a husband or boyfriend, so in the end my guess is I'm better suited for certain types who live certain lifestyles who are similar to me and require what I require from those they umm pair up with too..

    Wow!
Do you talk like that to nice women?
I can see why you might be alone. :)

Why don't you just let folks be themselves, and be their own sexualities?

Hey, and yes ... I sometimes do enjoy umm ... a little vocal stimulation when sex is concerned. To be honest, I prefer it. Dull and ho hum sexual experiences don't appeal to me. Open sexuality does, intense sensuality does, and woman who are secure enough with themselves to be so expressive in this manner do as well. It's really little different than same sex attraction, only different in that it's applied to what and the type I myself am attracted to, The issue is in the intent to dupe, to be deceptive out of spite in attempt and perhaps out of anger towards those of us who are attracted to the opposite sex instead of being attracted to the same sex. The practice is loathsome to say the least. You wouldn't want me to say the most, given the outrage many of us have towards predators who use this tactic to get off.

Part #1 of gender is tab A and slot B. The primary function of all living beings is reproduction and the most defining trait of their existence is their anatomy in regard to this function. Contrary to the woke-*** politics that has never been a debate. Males and females have a primary role that neither of them can take away from the other, so all discussions in regard to gender begin and end here.

The psychological considerations are subjective and thus not nearly as important of a feature, because either males or females can assume these roles. That makes them a secondary and not a primary trait associated to their gender. But, to be fair, gender means the anatomy and the roles -- but, to say that transgenders assume the roles is rather silly. They typically do not. So if they neither have a biological or an observable manifestation of the role of the assumed gender they have picked, other than in a cosmetic sense, what are we talking about? At best, I think transgenders take a stab at a meme of a biological sex but it stems from an arrogant initial proposition -- that you even know what that is in entirety. I think the biological and psychological traits of either sex can be understood by either, but to say that one has completely walked in either's shoes enough to be able to duplicate it is hilarity. Both sexes have different ways of thinking, different hormonal, emotional, and physical limitations or advantages.

But, the great thing about woke *** politics is since they have lower birth rates to believing in all that nonsense about gender being constructs and whatnot, love abortions, and being incel's -- they eventually breed themselves out of the population anyway. So, it's just a trend and it'll go away soon enough. Any movement or fad that doesn't encourage or allow stable families to grow from it dies. The Christians figured this out two-thousand years ago, and look, they're still here -- they encouraged their followers to build big families and do the things each sex was ideal at doing for the good of their faith and their progeny. Any good idea has to survive through it's manifestation -- if the only way it can survive is by filling peoples heads with garbage and forcing people into accept it... I'd contend that it's not really going to have much longevity.

I like this image-idea a lot. It's very interesting and creative.

But I wonder, is it really so bad that someone prefer to live as a 'performance' of themselves, rather than as their biological selves? For example, if someone were born with legs that were disfigured and didn't work, is it so strange that they would prefer to live as a person with pretty legs that do work, if they could? And if they found some means of putting on such a "performance", should we really be chastising them for it? Would it be so wrong for us to play along with them? Because I can't really see why it would be so wrong for us to do that for them. Whereas I feel it would be quite arrogant and unkind for us to ignore their efforts at 'artifice' and insist that they remain trapped in their unfortunate biological state.

I guess I just don't see the biology as being more important than the human being's life experience.

Since not all who are born are capable of reproduction, but still contribute to the species through interaction and community, it stands to reason that reproduction--while important to the species--is only a part of the function of an individual.

Afterall, a person incapable of reproduction still has a right to life, and I am content to allow them to fulfill whatever role seems fruitful to them as long as they accept the consequences.

Psychology is certainly subjective for the individual, but there are biological and environmental factors that can be measured--such as hormonal variations and the effect of certain influences from a person's upbringing or lifestyle.

Given the propensity of human biology and behavior towards variety to adapt to different environments, it makes sense that as human population increases, biological sex and psycho-social gender will be as varied as any other element of humanity.

And Christianity has a track record of cruelty when it comes to its relationship with gender...

The idea of a variety of gender is not new, and certainly not a human construct (other animals appear to take on gender roles different from their gonadal sex, even for the purposes of reproduction). It is likely that the more we understand biology and psychology, and the more we adapt to secular culture, the more tolerant we will become of those who don't appear to conform biologically or psycho-socially to a specific religious ideal of sex and gender.

Oh, shut up with this transphobic bull****. I swear you hetero cis men are the worst at times. So insecure and confused about everything. If you're straight, it makes sense you would like trans women, because they're women! You're making it complicated because you cis men are all obsessed with penises - your own and others. Sorry to break it to you, but whatever porn you've been watching isn't reality. A trans woman's penis doesn't even work anymore when she's on estrogen. Most of them don't even like using them, or they have to redefine them in feminine ways and treat them like female parts to enjoy them at all. Do you realize there's trans people on this board? I'm a trans man and there's trans women on here, too.

"He/she" is a slur and if you keep using it, I'm reporting you. Just accept what you like, get over it and spare us the nonsense. No one is trying to "dupe" you. By saying that, you're totally disrespecting us and calling us liars. You don't know what you're talking about.

More bs. First you need to understand that trans women are not "guys" "duping" people. They're transsexuals who have a medical condition that is treated with transitioning, socially and medically. They are not gay men and gay men aren't into MTFs. (Gay guys like FTMs like me, since we're men!)

That claim that trans women are perverts who use the women's room to prey on people is total garbage. It doesn't happen. There have been cases of trans women being harassed and assaulted by cis women. If they try to use the men's room, they are in danger of violence there, too.

This! If I am with a woman, and enjoy the various aspects of who she is (physically, emotionally etc.), what difference does it make that she may have been born with different gonads?

That was the point … to address the issue and the affects of on not just those like you, but also on the general populous at large. No, trans woman and trans men are not the same as natural woman and natural men. That's a fact. I have no issue with life choices and gender change ups until they interfere with my life, my choices, and my happiness, which they typically would not unless, and as I stated, some insist on being spiteful and attempt to dupe those who are natural born men and woman, and who choose to remain natural and be with natural as opposed to being with those who, have chosen to change gender.

I once had a profession, which involved helping and looking after the wellbeing being of … sexual predators. So, I do understand a bit more about what my opening post is about and the reason why I posted it. If you're not concerned with sexual predators (of any type) then yes, Houston, we have a problem. If you have an issue with sexual predators, but not trans gender individuals who prey on others sexually just because they happen to be trans gender, then yes … Houston, we have a problem. Your life is your life and I respect your choices for the gender change, but then is it too much to ask for you to respect my choice to keep my life, my choices, and my lifestyle in the natural arena?

Sexual predators, deception based on gender, spite, and anger directed at society at large as opposed to those who may have made you feel bad about being the way you are is a hot button topic, and rightfully so. So, I'll respect your life choices if you can respect mine as well. Until then, and until the chip on your shoulder against those of us who prefer natural over those who chose to change gender, we've reached impass that demands attention by more than some men but likewise some woman as well.

I have friends who take pride in being attracted to the same sex. Friends who live unashamed, friends who own who they are, then rock it like nobodies business. Then there are those who choose to hide behind a veil, so to speak, who really shouldn't be ashamed of who they are or the lifestyle they choose, yet because of some people in our society, and the judgement and condemnation thrust on them, they invert and hide and feel shame instead of being proud of who they are and how they are made … naturally. As for a lifestyle, a transgender lifestyle, then wouldn't it be best to keep that lifestyle in the transgender arena and be proud of that as well? It's the deception, and spite, and the animosity that I find so appalling … not the gender change or choices or lifestyle chosen.

    I hope you understand.

Luckily, fewer and fewer people agree with your primitive morals and ethics.
There's well over 7,000,000,000 people on the planet and growing. Decent humans are far beyond being brood mares.
