No, it’s truly not a show and tell. The entire room is virtually dedicated as a shrine. I won’t go as far as saying it’s a temple, but I try to keep it as such.
Yes, there are aspects I’m not wildly keen on, i.e. the closet which is, well … a closet with closet stuff.
The white table in the corner is my puja altar. The smaller table and shelves are side shrines, so to speak. My question is, is it proper, ok to, should I wave the lamp, incense, put flowers and/or offerings at those? I prefer to think of the room as more than a place for objets d’art.
None of the statues, not even my central brass Krishna had prāṇa pratiṣṭhā, so I don’t think the room is subject to strict rules. And we know how I can overthink.
