I hope you will consider a trip to the psychiatrist before committing suicide as sometimes depression is simply caused by chemical imbalance in the brain and it seems a shame to waste a life over something which might be easily fixed with the correct medicine.

I wonder if you had a child,

Would it be best to give them everything, not teach them how to do anything for themselves, make all their phone calls, clean their room, cook all their favoutite food, not get them to work at all.

Or

To slowly give them responsibility, help around the house, have initiative and learn how to be self sufficient.

Who would be happier when all is done?

I guess it's never 100 but some may think giving a child the tools to do it on their own is more satisfying for them, of cause it is hard sometimes to see your child struggle.
