My + my mom's avocado plant

It grew from the pit of a store-bought avocado that was planted in soil.

We have done the same with capsicum, lemon and 2 varieties of grape.

It's good when it works, much fruit and veg is irradiated, a process that kills microbes and helps preservation, it also kills the seed.

It's still a baby. And even after it grows, I'm skeptical it will produce fruit, given this particular one is currently an indoor plant.
Yeah I know. It's rare to have potted trees do much at all other than become bonsai. It's like putting the root system in jail. An amazing fruit though ... so many varieties.

Boss and daughter are having a ginger plant growing contest here.
