This version of a translation from the sura al-Fatiha is different maybe from all the others. Certainly of most.
It says: "The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians)."
The more usual translation goes along the lines of: " The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray."
Where did the the Jews and the Christians jump into this one? Are they actually in the Arabic text?
