Mugabe has died.

Robert Mugabe, former president of Zimbabwe, has died. Referred by many as 'the thinking man' guerilla' he held seven degrees, three of which he obtained during his decade of imprisonment fighting white colonial rule in the Rhodesian Bush War, and remnants of apartheid once the war was over. Were it not for capitalist intervention, Zimbabwe would be among the greatest African nations. A tragedy, that.

While his work towards decolonization and resistance against imperialism is commendable, upon further inspection he has shown himself to be nothing but a state capitalist and authoritarian. A comrade is a comrade though, at the end of the day. May he rest in power.
