A lot of my students when I taught found Mr. Rogers very creepy.

Just sayin ... there are always alternative POVs.

Meh, most if not all very young children’s media is creepily wholesome.
I was terrified of Barney when I was like 6.
I legit thought the puppet from an Australian preschool show called “In the Box” would devour my soul. And I was older than the target demographic at the time.
I remember even being creeped out by the older Disney shorts. And they existed purely to teach wholesome morals. Even Sesame Street has creepy moments.
Kids often find very innocent things creepy. I suspect there’s something of an uncanny valley affect there somewhere.:shrug:
