It is nice to see a conscience in some of the country's elite.

At the risk of enraging a fell predator.....
    "conscience"
    "country's"

We need tax reform, but cutting revenue without cutting
spending or reducing the national debt isn't reasonable.

see we give other countries billions of dollars
    every time an event happens

why not give every American a cool million?
    it would only cost.....380billion

Germany tried something similar. Calling their inflation rampant is putting it very mildly.

Trump doesn't care, as he is not pushing tax cuts for the wealthy he is pushing tax cuts for himself.

Something I can agree with. Tax the rich don't cut their taxes. Cut taxes for the middle and poor, don't increase them.

Which is why I am surprised when financially conservative folks tend to vote on a republican tax model that seeks to hurt them the most. Trump's tax proposals should be of no surprise to anyone. Any analyst worth their salt was predicting this in October of last year.
