if they are gathered, are they gathered in the Father?

is this how Jesus could claim to be the son of god by the name?

It's about what is considered a religious meeting, at that time

spiritual meeting of the minds. not necessarily exclusive to a religion per se.

But, you're talking about Matthew 18:20?

not exactly. the name isn't unique to a religion. it is unique to a spiritual understanding. spirit literally means mind, or a meeting of minds.

Well put that in your OP, then. Not just Matthew 18:20 then start talking about something entirely different. And no spirit does not literally mean the meeting of minds

why? i didn't want to attribute it to one religion because the Name actually infers all religions.

From late 14c. as "divine substance, divine mind, God;" also "Christ" or His divine nature; "the Holy Ghost; divine power;" also, "extension of divine power to man; inspiration, a charismatic state; charismatic power, especially of prophecy." Also "essential nature, essential quality." From 1580s in metaphoric sense "animation, vitality."

from strong's H7307 Spirit, or ruwach

    from strongs G4151 pneuma
    mental disposition, spirit(-ual, -ually), mind

I understand that when you say "The name" you mean the English phrase "I am". Am I correct?

May i clarify what you mean by saying "all religions"? How is that name relevant to all religions?

the actual name in hebrew is i will be what i will be, because there is no present form in hebrew. I was schooled in this nuance by a contributor on this website and who is hebrew.

in the english it is translated i am that i am; which means whatever is i am.

so all things are made of it, thus it includes all religions.

there was nothing made that wasn't made of IT, or i will be what i will be.

isaiah 66:1-6 and John 1:1-3 says it best.

    understand?

In Hebrew it means "I am", "I was", and "I will be".

You just make stuff up don't you

God said to Moses, "Ehyeh asher ehyeh (I will be what I will be)," and He said, "So shall you say to the children of Israel, 'Ehyeh (I will be) has sent me to you.'" ידוַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־משֶׁ֔ה אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽהְיֶ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר כֹּ֤ה תֹאמַר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֲלֵיכֶֽם:

Bro. I actually did not ask for what it means. I dont mean any disrespect but everyone knows what this means, thats not what i am asking you.

I asked brother how this is relevant to other religions. Not the Christian perspective. I hope you understand. I ask this question because you mentioned "All religions".

because the name can be understood in many other religions. the hebrews probably got it from their exposure to the kemetic. the story indicates that moses learned this during the time of the hebrews existence in egypt.

    Nuk Pu Nuk,

    Ahmi yat Ahmi,
The Khabs in the Khu and not the Khu in the Khabs,
    Ahaṁ Brahmāsmi,
    Neti, Neti,
    Ahea Ashur Ahea,
    Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh,

fyi, i'm exclusively no thing and inclusively everything. love doesn't have an exact form; so I AM. so i'm not exclusively christian.

but don't take my word for it

What you saying is that "It could be understood by all religions" not that "All religions have this name".

    Okay i got it.

Although you should know that God is a word that all religions understand better. And in some religions the meaning of Ehye exists as one of the attributes of God, not as a name of God.

Anyway, i understand what you said so thanks for clarifying. Hope you have a great day.

    Cheers.

ehyeh ’ăšer ’ehyeh ([ʔɛhˈjɛh ʔaˈʃɛr ʔɛhˈjɛh]) – also "I am who I am", "I am what I am" or "I will be what I will be" or even "I create what(ever) I create". The traditional English translation within Judaism favors "I will be what I will be" because there is no present tense of the verb "to be" in the Hebrew language.

in the religions that use it, it is understood that all things come from one thing; which is identified as the originator of the things being observed, manifested.
