I wasn't ever fooled by the left's high moral horse lies. Not surprised at all.

    Hypocrisy is their second name.

Come to think of it, Obama built those cages.

They knew long ago what it's intended for and I'm sure it wasn't pre-planned just to make a Republican president look bad.

They simply are not that smart.

Who is the "left" that you're collectively referring to? This is right in the OP:

That seems quite consistent on AOC's part. Not sure where you see any hypocrisy, unless you somehow don't believe she's one of the "left."

As to the story in the OP, I think anyone who thought Biden would be a benevolent president was either overly optimistic or delusionally partisan and naive. This is one of the guys who voted for the Iraq War--he practically facilitated war crimes and murder. He may be a lesser evil than Trump, but he sure is no saint.

What Obama did and what Trump did along this line has been so utterly distorted by the right that an independent observer probable wouldn't fine it easy to make any connection between the two.

In brief, Obama did it because of federal law, with an average incarceration of a 6-day stay until they could fine either relatives or temporary custodians. Trump did it as a matter of foreign policy so as to "send a message" as he repeated many times over. To me, that was a huge black mark on the Trump administration as still today all the children have not been reconnected with their parents or relatives.

I'm gonna wait as see how the Biden administration deals with this, but I certainly hope that it's more like the approach of the Obama administration versus using the children as pawns like Trump did in his utter depravity.

    We'll see.

Don’t be fooled. Consistently fighting to protect children is just part of her evil plot.

Why would I? I have no allegiance to either party. The facts are there for anyone to read from credible sources without partisan noise in the background à la Fox News and CNN.

Ask yourself whether you take offense on behalf of a political party when they're rightfully criticized and called out for spreading misinformation. If you do, perhaps your priorities need to change for the sake of giving more value to factual consistency.

you don't really sound like you think the idea is is very moral yourself.. If that is the case, then what political group do you think has the right idea about what should be done about this

If you regard this as the same as what Trump did, I assume this enamors you more to Biden right? And more likely to push back on any right wingers claiming what a far left guy Biden is, right?

    Right, esmith?

Look at who's in charge that caused this to be reported.

You're probably the one who needs to do that after blasting the Left as a whole despite the OP including an article mentioning someone on the Left criticizing it. And for still not getting the history of these cages right.
It was an embarrassing bungle of a rushed mistake with Obama, who's presidency saw a massive surge in children coming here without parents. Under Trump it was policy to separate children from parents and cage the kids.

All I see are a bunch of excuses and no real action.

There's a reason why this is being reported in the news and it's because of two things, the left being hypocritical, and the habit of being all talk and no action.

Correct, holding facilities. Obama didn't separate children from parents permanently.
That's the difference and why the Trump admin receives criticism.
We know your media doesn't point that out.

So they are not popping kids into those cages right now?

    It's a complete fabrication?
