MetaFiction

Here's a website featuring a number of stories and novels on spiritual and related themes:
A Metafictional Odyssey

It gives this definition:
Metafiction: (1) A literary form in which modern science fiction crosses the line into postmodern myth and miraculous encounters, where fact is often stranger than the wildest flights of fancy.
(2) Spiritual, occult, or metaphysical fiction.

I'd like to tell you a little about the first story, titled The Metamorph. The site gives a quote from a reader: "It is the finest and most succinct everlasting love story that I have ever read. It is also an excellent crash course in religious metaphysics."

I feel that it's indeed a very compelling love story, with lots of good information on spiritual realities and practices artfully woven in. It includes such subjects as soul-building, the nature of astral and solar bodies, and real-life role-playing as a means of spiritual development.

The lead characters are named Peter and Melissa, who were lovers in their youth. The story follows them through the rest of their lives, in a series of high-sync encounters. Though they still love each, they're not able to reconcile the conflict that separated them. Then the most exciting part happens when they meet again after death. I won't describe the scenes, but as a clue I'll ask the question: IS THERE SEX AFTER DEATH? Most people who are aware of the continuity of existence will surely agree that there is LOVE after death ~ but how about erotic love? I'd be interested in hearing people's thoughts about this, whether or not you read the story. But The Metamorph provides a really amazing and thought-provoking answer.
