As many have noticed, there are three separate subforums within the greater European-Pagan forum dedicated to Asatru, Norse & Heathenry. I, and quite a few others in the Feedback forum think that is counterproductive to the purpose of the forum, namely to discuss & educate others on both the historical context of religions and their modern-day purposes & iterations.
The subforum system works very well with most religions, as there tend to be clear divides between the various sects. But within European Paganism(or polytheism in general), and particularly Germanic Paganism, the differences are much more fluid.
It is my opinion that having these three subforums makes it a daunting task for those looking for answers, and simply frustrating for discussion among fellow believers.
I also feel that it isn't quite fair for the different flavours of Germanic Paganism to get their own subs and yet the others, such as Celt, do not.
So, what do you think? Combine them into a broader 'Germanic Paganism' subforum while doing away with Norse, Asatru & Heathenry or leave it as-is?
