"Have you forgotten that all of us who were immersed into union with Jesus, the Anointed One, were immersed into union with his death? Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life. For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts." ~TPT

When you focus on how wonderful God is and all the great things He's done... is doing... and even will do in your life, your natural response will be praise, adoration and awe. Don't let yourself ever get used to it... stay amazed!

The grindstone

A grindstone is a revolving disk made of stone which is used for grinding, polishing or sharpening. It can commonly be seen grinding down wheat or sharpening and polishing metal for various purposes.

A wise man once compared life to a grindstone. He said -- life grinds us down or polishes us up depends on what we’re made of.

Hebrews 2:8

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

hypotassō = "has put" =

To arrange under in subordination.

To subject one's self in obedience.

To submit to one's control.

To yield to one's admonition or advice.

God has left nothing outside the control of his Son, even if presently we have yet to see this accomplished. But we see Jesus, who as a man, lived for a short time lower than the angels and has now been crowned with glorious honor because of what he suffered in his death. For it was by God's grace that he experienced deaths bitterness on behalf of everyone! For now he towers above all creation, for all things exist through him and for him. God made him, pioneer of our salvation, perfect through his sufferings, for this is how he brings many sons and daughters to share in his glory." ~TPT

"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it."

Swallow = bālaʿ =

To swallow down, swallow up, engulf, eat up.

His constant love

renderTimingPixel.png

Keep on giving your thanks to God, for he is so good!

His constant, tender love lasts forever! Let all his princely people sing, “His constant, tender love lasts forever!” Let all his holy priests sing, “His constant, tender love lasts forever!” Let all his lovers who bow low before him sing, “His constant, tender love lasts forever!” Out of my deep anguish and pain I prayed, and God, you helped me as a father. You came to my rescue and broke open the way into a beautiful and broad place. ~TPT
