Meditation in Judaism...

Alea iacta est

Pretend that I wrote something cool.
... is not very wellknown. What I understand it's been existing in Judaism since the Antiquity. This means we're not discussing Jewish Buddhists but Jewish meditation. How common is Jewish meditation among you who are Jews? Which branch (Reform, Conservative, Orthodox etc) use it most?

There are some resources online. But I don't know whether they are good or bad. Can a Noachide practice it in the same way as a Jew?
What resources do you recommend?

I have met many meditaters(sp?) who are practising Jews. They have all mentioned a book by Aryyeh Kaplan(Jewsih Meditation).
Here it is online. I hope it aids you.
