They say that the god would never allow a believer in God to be misled.
That is why they trust the word which says "all scripture is inspired of God" as God's words.
That means that nobody can alter the meaning of any of the words in it according to them.
They live by the words trusting in God to use those words to lead them.

If all that is true, then God allowing Adam to sin has no meaning.

I am not going to talk about Genesis being a historical account.
I would talk about my belief that it has real meaning.

Why would God allow the first worshipper of God to be misled but then actively prevent
any other sincere believer in God to be misled?

Who is they, the book of Job and Jesus's time in the desert or comments to Peter indicate otherwise that we are going to be tested.

Anyone who publishes a Bible is "they". Anyone who believes the Bible is all true is "they". There are a lot of people like that.

Then you seem to have it wrong because the bible indicates you will be tested, it only states that it will not be something you can overcome.
    1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

    What are you talking about?

Are you saying 1 Corinthians 10:13 is proof that God won't allow error?

Is it that because it was written under the heading "God" it is a temptation to believe in it?

Am I assuming incorrectly that God would have all people believe in God?

Are you not believing in words?

! Corinthians 10:13 applies to faithful sons of God.

Are you @bobhikes saying that it applies to everyone? I am certain it does not.

No I'm saying god tests you and allows you to error. You won't be given a test you can't succeed but that doesn't mean you will succeed. As Jesus was Tested in the Desert, as Job was tested by the devil. Jesus and Job passed the tests but clearly they could have failed and that was the point.

If you are certain it does not that is your opinion but from Adam and Eve, God consistently gave people the choice to do his bidding or not. When Cain killed Abel god asked him multiple times to come clean about what he did. Cain refused and was punished. God already knew what Cain had done.

How does what you are saying apply to the thread subject?

People do believe that God would never allow the words to mislead.

They say God has protected the meaning of every word which was written to believe in it.

There is a choice before us all. I can see as plain as day that people are choosing to believe in WORDS.

    Am I wrong?

If Adam sinned in taking the fruit and eating it he would have been believing in something other than God's will be done. I am talking to the majority with that statement. Maybe someone thinks it was God's will that he eat it. I am with the majority in that.

    GOD allowed the sin.

NOW people are saying that God doesn't allow the sin.

    Got it?

I believe it is a sin to put a person's own opinion in the book called, "The Word of God".

Have your own opinion? Sure, knock yourself out!

Write it to share it with another as not your own opinion, but calling it God's word. It is a sin.

Now people are saying, "God would not allow it!"

They believe and teach that God does not and never has let a human opinion substitute for
    the truth.

They say it was not possible that anyone could have changed the meaning of anything in The Bible.

Do people not know it is what is being taught?

But the 'words' in God's 'word' is human.

If it is true that what is written IS Christ then the situation is much worse than what I think it is.

Whether one is referring to the Old or New Testaments, the written word is of the inspired human author who wrote as he interpreted and made public, communicated his mystical experience of God. Unless you prefer to believe that God has a human voice and spoke words.
