The world lost a great mind with Milton Friedman's passingI don't recall him weighing in on OSHA.
Couldn't find anything on the internet.
Whaddaya got?
BTW, Uncle Miltie & I have much in common.
Did you know that he was active in fighting the
military draft? This was back when your liberals
wanted to expand it, & your conservatives loved it.
I don't see you two having much in common. Milton was so anti-regulation he didn't even like consumer protections and airbags automatically being put in cars because he thought it forced him to spend money and took away his right to choose.Go to any business and see how much of their time they have to spend with OSHA ... with all the other alphabetical agencies, with the IRS.
It’;s far more than money. It’;s what you can do with your life. For example, you can not become a physician unless you get the approval of the government. You must get a license from the government – that’;s a government control. So the government decides who may or may not be in medicine, who may or may not be a plumber, who may or may not be a barber – all along the line. The government decides what you can do with your property.
And because some people may not always follow a law, regulation or mandate 100% all the time, nobody should.Well people in government are hypocritical about mask wearing… Here is one example of many:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib Admits Her Mask Is All Theater
I'd agree if she was infected and intentionally trying to do that. Two years ago, I didn't think a member of the US House of Representatives would try to spread disease during a pandemic.
Shouldn’t be mask and vaccine mandates or lawsAnd because some people may not always follow a law, regulation or mandate 100% all the time, nobody should.
There shouldn't be property laws in my opinion, therefore I am free to smash any shop window that I dislike, correct?Shouldn’t be mask and vaccine mandates or laws
That’s some kind of logical fallacy there, we are talking masks and vaccine mandates. There shouldn't be property laws in my opinion, therefore I am free to smash any shop window that I dislike, correct?
After all, it's the Land of the Free - so if I don't like a law, I can just ignore it!
This is what politicians seem to believe, that’s the problem. We have existing laws on the books that they passed but don’t enforce ex. Immigration laws. But they do the same with the mandates, remember Pelosi and her hairstylist? After all, it's the Land of the Free - so if I don't like a law, I can just ignore it!
I see his views differently...not opposition to all regulation. The world lost a great mind with Milton Friedman's passing

What kind? I am really curious. That’s some kind of logical fallacy
A strawman argumentWhat kind? I am really curious.
Not really. Masks and vaccine mandates and passports are to help prevent far worse than property damage. That’s some kind of logical fallacy there, we are talking masks and vaccine mandates.
How many do you suppose knowingly and intentionally spread this?I'd agree if she was infected and intentionally trying to do that.
I'm interested though if she tests before working.
Not even close to the same thingNot really. Masks and vaccine mandates and passports are to help prevent far worse than property damage.
What makes you say this? Not even close to the same thing
I don’t see the equivalent in the exampleWhat makes you say this?
They are not equivalent. Preserving lives is more important than preserving properties.I don’t see the equivalent in the example
That’s right, and that’s why it’s a strawman fallacy because they aren’t equivalent. They are not equivalent. Preserving lives is more important than preserving properties.
How many people in Congress have had property damage due to Greene, AOC,Biden,Pelosi, and Tlaib not wearing masks? Not really. Masks and vaccine mandates and passports are to help prevent far worse than property damage.
None as far as I can tell unless it's comparable to Typhoid Mary. How many do you suppose knowingly and intentionally spread this?
