Sitting in the corner
The young child is crying out
Praying for God to save them
When no help will come
As the blows rain down
And the shouts are loud
Oh child,
You do not deserve this pain.
But the world will turn a blind eye
And will God answer your prayers
When religion's used against you?
You're taught to play the game
Say what they want to say
Act the way they want
Mind will be twisted
By the end of this
As an adult
What will you be believe?
And will you ever find yourself?

@Saint Frankenstein I just writing what comes to mind cuz I've been in the mood to write poetry...problem is it's all depressing stuff. I'ma try for happy next. Will probably fail tho
