There is actually a lot of warning given in the NT concerning wolves in sheep's clothing and false teachers. So I take that to indicate there really are those we are to be aware of who claim to be Christians, yet they do not belong to Christ, nor do they express His truth and love.

Problem is, the Timothy passage doesn't declare the Bible the word of God.

The 'Timothy passage' was not the only one given. I gave others as what was asked required others.

    Context.

“Context” refers only to the particular text with which one is working. Timothy is its own context.

Your other passages did not make that claim either.

Now you are spreading falsehoods by.proxy.

I asked you more than once if you wanted a serious discussion. By your standards you were refuted.

Why not try a serious discussion where you properly support your claims?

Though an individual writing, Timothy is part of the one Book, the Bible.

Sorry, but this demonstrates your ignorance of the history of the Bible.
They tend to refer to specific cases and not the entire Bible. In fact none of them are about the entire Bible.

Yeah. No, that's not How It Works. The various books were written independently of each other, in different times and places, by widely different people, and usually without knowledge of the other books. To pretend that the bible is a cohesive whole is nothing more than wishful thinking.

The writers were writing one Book or Letter. The Holy Spirit was writing a Book, the Bible.

This is a non-argument. It can be discounted by pointing to the history of the development of several biblical canons. There are still several canons. Additionally, it isn't "one book." It's library (hence the term "bible") of many disparate pieces of literature.

You can point to whatever you want. The Bible exists. It is one Book. It has One Author, God.

    1) yes it does.
    2) No, it isn't.
    3) It has many authors.
    4) It's attitudes like this that hinder a decent understanding of the texts and serves to undermine what the texts are.

The Bible has one Author, God. God used many human writers.

Narrow minded ones, yes. Christ-like ones, not so much.

Too bad the Bible is such a mess. I don't think a deity would have such shoddy workmanship.
