I'd have voted for Bernie as the lesser evil than Hillary or Trump.
I didn't & don't support him, but I guesstimated that his effect in
office would've been the least evil.

I have, for most of my adult life. It's just gotten really bad lately. It's become "if we don't talk about it, maybe everyone will forget about it".
It only came to mind because Trump is apparently getting worried that his trade wars may be slowing the economy. To make up for the expense to taxpayers, he is talking about unfunded tax relief (eg add it to the deficit).
