Featured Lucifer, the “Good Guy” calling out God's bull****.

If we’re going by what the Bible says, I’d say both the devil and God are pretty bad.

 

Lucifer is just like us., allows light who lives in us flow. Cause Lucifer was allowing light flow right., Lucifer’s name literally translates from Latin to “Light bringer”, “Light bearer” or “Morning Star”

But that's Latin though., uh?

How come that's Latin word., when did this word come about?

 

I prefer the Romantic literary period versions. And my own versions, of course.

 

I don't really see Yahweh or Lucifer as evil, because they don't exist.

Based on what I know about the Bible, if all of it were true, I would say Yahweh is more evil than Lucifer, but Lucifer is evil too.

Edit: If a monotheistic God were true, I akin it closer to Baha'u'llah's Baha-God instead.

 

The role reversal is that the Good Guy, God is now seen as the bad guy by some and the Bad Guy, Satan is seen as the good guy by some.
God created everything including us and told us not to eat from a certain tree or we would die.
Satan says to the innocent humans, no you won't die, you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
Humans eat and die and humanity, knowing good and evil and not being able to control themselves are unleashed on the world to kill and rape and steal and destroy in their quest for pleasure and glory. And each person dies.
This is the fruit of the lying prophet Satan when humans listened to his council and not to the council of God.

And Satan says nothing about himself but if you want to know if there is a deceiver/Satan, just hear the story I have told and wonder why people say that Satan is the good guy and God is the bad guy.

Perhaps Lucifer's rebellion was one against tyranny and injustice.

 

Because he set us free from a self centered, egotistical tyrant.

Because instead of actually fixing things and addressing things he designed a system that most will fail due to the most trivial and petty offenses, so called "trangressions" that often time don't even involve anything harmful or making victims of people.

 

After rereading the Bible several times from the perspective of a former Christian, I now think of Lucifer as a cosmic pawn utilized by God to stroke his own ego. If God is all-knowing, as the Bible asserts, then it would make sense that God had planned for Lucifer to serve as his adversary, but Lucifer refused to submit to God's demand. He challenged God, and as a result, God expelled him from heaven along with the other rebellious angels who stood by him. That being said, as an ex-Christian, I no longer believe the Bible is inerrant and infallible. I now believe that it has many contradictions and that some of its stories were most likely copied from Greek mythology and other pagan religions that predate it. Despite my view of the Bible, I think that I can still have sympathy for the devil.

God created us and gave us life and wants good for us and wants us to grow up and mature and live forever. To recognise God for who and what He is means hearing what He tells us of Himself for a start and not just see Him as a self centered egotistical tyrant.
Satan was not needed for us to have eaten the fruit. God told us the truth about the fruit and Satan told the lie that we would not die if we ate it. As Jesus said, Satan was a liar and murderer from the start.

God tells us we are important to Him and are loved by Him.
We are in this "system" of good and evil because we listened to Satan and took our freedom before God knew that we had grown enough to be ready for it.

 

The God I believed in before I was a Christian was a nice guy. Sadly, it's hard for me to go back to that again.
