@Disciple of Jesus You seem to be saying that anyone not of the class of people you are in can't perform for The Lord. Did I read you wrong?

There's a problem with your argument. Freewill allows works that may or may not be correct, and works that are considering salvation oriented, that also really just means of the faith, like what you are talking about, presumably, are not ones works, solely,
    1 Corinthians 4:4

Normal works don't save, book of Romans.

I think you are saying that The Lord judges by a person's works. Believe in Jesus is work performed and according to you, it will lead to a person's salvation, and that The Lord will judge all those who don't believe like you believe unworthy for whatever you are hoping for. That looks like to me that you limit God's will because God will choose for salvation only those doing what YOU say they should be doing.

Interesting, so people should do what you specifically think is salvation oriented, then? It's like your separating yourself from your own criticism.

    Go ahead.

What do I think is salvation oriented other than this? Though the phrase "who fears him" was probably added later because it is also written that there is no fear in love. 1 John 4:18Acts 10:35

Being righteousness is described beautifully at Matthew 5:3-12. But, nobody is perfect.

What have I said to anybody which indicates what I think they should do?

I think some people should be funny, but other people should not even try.

I actually told the two youngish people who I welcomed into my home that there will be no lying (they lied) and that there will no pornography (I don't know about that.) But, it wasn't for their everlasting salvation. It was supposed to be for just a few years.

And if they obeyed my few and easy (but, I suppose not lying takes a lot of practice) rules he would still be here. I only promised her a place. Never did I promise him.

Why don't you prove that it was added later. I don't believe your speculations.

Then what are you even arguing? Your argument requires that.

My arguing is about what I believe I should do. Is a book always written to steer people the author's way? I think that you are making stuff up.

I know you don't. Why not prove it? It can't be done. If it could be done, it would have been done. I trust that most people who care about the Bible also care about what is true and are "good"* people. But, if the meaning of anything which is being called "God's Word" was changed somewhere along the way, the person or persons who did it can never be considered good. I think that is a fact. But, they're dead, so it doesn't matter anymore for them.

OK. Yes. I believe that. What's your point?

My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.

For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.

I think a person need not call 'The Way The Truth The Life' "Jesus". Can you prove that a person not believing in Jesus can't believe in his way?

1 Corinthians 4:8 applies to you @Disciple of Jesus. Doesn't it? It certainly doesn't apply to me. Are you applying it to me or to @Fool? Weird!

Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign--and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you

LOL What is this? Galatians 2:3-5 Surely I must have my head on backward! Doesn't it define you not us?

Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek. This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.
