Is this the piece by Patrick Cassidy? The opening struck as a bit reminiscent of Morten Lauridsen, some of whose stuff I have sung.

I just listened to Morten Lauridsen for a bit. I was quite lovely. Listening to the Russian National Anthem now. Can't sleep tonight...

Try Chopin Nocturnes of you want to get to sleep. If you are reconciled to staying awake, try Bach's Goldberg Variations, which he allegedly wrote for an aristocrat who suffered from sleepless nights and wanted something to soothe him.
