He grew up (most probably in Israel), but was not actively teaching at the time, thus there was nothing noteworthy enough for Christians who transmitted His story to mention.

He Came To India And Learnt Spirituality and Went Back and taught to People in Israel. There are evidences for this.

There is no evidence for this, just a load of wishful thinking, lies, and pseudoscience.

I personally believe he went to India.

Yeah, no evidence of it, but there's no real evidence he even existed so... : hamster :

History and dogma has filtered any objectionable materials regarding the early life of Jesus so there is very little to go on. I highly doubt Jesus waited til his thirties to start talking about God.

What has to be remembered is that in ancient times, it was not common for people to have their early lives written about. It wasn't until the time in which the person was considered important that their lives would be written about (if even then) Part of the reason is the belief that people were static. Thus, there was no reason to explain their background.

What most likely happened in the so called "lost years" is that Jesus worked. He helped support his family, by learning some sort of trade (most likely the same trade that his father had). It really isn't exciting, but that's okay.

Yes I read the book, it is a load of nonsense.

    No they don't.

Documents fabricated in the 19th century don't qualify as "historical" in any scholarly sense of the word.

A tomb with names such as Yuz Azaph or whatever. Even if we accept that these names sound like the names of Jesus and co, they were common Jewish names and several grave sites with those names (as opposed to names which allegedly sound similar) have been found in Israel anyway.

The chain of transmission and the non-religious documents referring to His crucifixion are incomparably more scholarly than nonsense fabricated in the 19th century.

    Namaste,

Jesus never travelled to India. I understand that some Hindus say that he did, and I don't really know the reason why they say that he travelled to India, but it isn't right. It hurts Hindu sentiments as well as Christian sentiments. Was India lacking something at that time that She needed a holy man from outside, far away places? I vehemently doubt it. But, he could have gone to a next door town (or village) in Judea for all we know.

I believe the "lost years" were all covered in the Gospel of Biff.

Mary, fearing that Herod would find Jesus, sent her son to live with his aunt in Bel Air, California. Thus Jesus spent his "lost years" learning what it meant to truly be a "fresh prince".
