They tend to be very conservative, very anti-science, and very literal about the Bible. A few have even been RF members in the past. I'm not sure as to specifically what all believe it, but they are out there.
Are Aliens Demons? Evidences For A Spiritual View
This lecture provides an overview of the messages, actions and abilities demonstrated by modern "aliens" with insight into the scriptural and theological arguments that logically support the fallen angel interpretation of the phenomena.
Aliens and Demons: New Documentary | Dr. Michael Heiser
That said, what passes for contactee messaging and alien abductions is, in my view, quite sinister, and demonization is one (strong) possibility in my mind for explaining those phenomena.
10 Reasons Why Aliens Are Actually Fallen Angels or Demons
The article will explore ten reasons why it is true that aliens are fallen angels or demons:
  1. The aliens of our time match the demons and fallen angels mentioned in the Bible in terms of their behavior.
  2. Like the Bible predicts, aliens never affirm the deity of Christ nor do they claim to come in his name.
  3. Aliens change their stories to delude man into believing their lies. One example of this is that before man had been to outer space or sent satellites there, aliens would claim to be from planets such as Jupiter in our solar system. As time went on and man learned more about our planets, we realized that no one could live on a planet like Jupiter, so aliens changed their story. Now they claim to be from other solar systems and star clusters such as Andromeda and Pleiades.
  4. Though aliens are said to be advanced, it seems they need us for their survival just as fallen angels need human beings to prey on. There are various accounts of aliens taking tissue samples from humans, probing them, or impregnating women. This is the origin of the entities known as incubus and succubus.
  5. Alien abductions are stopped by invoking the name of Jesus.
  6. Aliens bring ideas to earth that will help man unite worldwide for a new era of consciousnesses. This uniting prepares the way for their leader (who is possibly the Antichrist) by making mankind forget their religion and loyalty to their countries.
  7. Aliens often contact "new-agers" and occultists, as opposed to Christians. This is not always the case since people from all walks of life have been contacted by "aliens." However, I believe that these "space brothers" are not too interested in contacting Christians. This is because Christians will be able to see through aliens' disguise and know them for what they are: demons.
  8. Aliens are not opposed to being worshipped by humans. They also deny their creator (God), claiming instead that they are Creators. This serves to draw man away from God.
  9. Aliens give man technology but these "advancements" are usually destructive. There are secret projects that many governments have in their budget which are usually for creating new weapons of war. Much of the technology for such weaponry is said to come from extraterrestrials. Why don't aliens ever give us life-saving technology?
  10. Aliens often emit horrible odors, such as sulfur. Some call this smell the stench of Hell since it is a sign of the eternal fire.

Contact came out 20 years ago (wow I feel old) and essentially the entire movie's argument was that God probably did not 'waste so much space' by making humans the only thing in the cosmos.
Hehe... to this day, when getting ready to go somewhere, I'll often start rambling, "OK to go! I'm OK to go."

Would the discovery of life on other planets disprove most conventional religions??
Depends on what you mean by disprove. They would just have to make some changes in some of their beliefs and continue with the remaining ones. Of course some people may decide to leave the religion because it is not 100% true.

From instance, when some advanced aliens come to Earth and point out that Jesus may not be a universal God, that his authority is actually limited to the Earth, many Christians may just accept that. Some may choose to leave.

My own?? No. We think it will be found one day.

Mainstream Christianity?? Maybe. They'd have to grapple with the idea that the savior was maybe sent to only one planet.

Mormonism: Maybe not. Maybe Jesus made the rounds, and after the Americas headed to all the other planets too.

Islam?? No. "To every tribe a Prophet" probably applies to other planets too.

While that is certainly possible, I tend to think that perhaps we shouldn't use ourselves as the measuring stick of what alien life might be like. Seems rather anthropocentric, if you ask me.

Yeah, Hopefully its the Vulcans and not the Klingons that get here first.:D

Didn't Jesus say something like: "Other sheep have I, which are not of this pasture?"

(And the livestock He has created for you, from them ye derive warmth and numerous benefits and from them you feed*And ye have beauty in them resting or grazing* And they carry your loads to places ye could hardly reach by yourself. Indeed your Lord is the most Kind and most merciful*And the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride, and He creates other things of which ye have no knowledge)

Yes, He said, "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." He not only said He had other sheep but that they, too, would hear His voice -- not just the voices of others testifying of Him, but His own voice.

The odds are ridiculously small that we're the only ones in the universe considering its size.
But they're also ridiculously small that alien life would come here.
We're almost impossible to find. It'll be a long time before our radio waves even reach the nearest star and by then they'll be like background noise and non-intelligible.
They might be able to detect water in our atmosphere but it's a long way to travel on a hint of life.
They'll have to develop a faster than light system of travel as we'll being moving away from them at that speed.
If they do decide to come here, (and there's nil evidence of them having been here yet), and don't use us as a food source the same way we do with less intelligent animals, their technology will boggle our little minds enough to make us forget religion altogether.
Religion would die out within a generation.
Unless they have their own religion, in which case we'll be worshipping their gods.
That's what I reckon.

If there were not life on other planets it would be an enormous waste of space.

Most religious would accept the fact, some would question and modify their view to accommodate the new found life and the fundamentalist would ignore it.

The nearest star (excluding Sol) is Proxima Centauri
about 4.25 light years away

Radio waves travel at the speed of light, meaning that radio signals from earth, first broadcast in 1906 have reached well over 500 G type stars.

Perhaps the little green men of Proxima Centauri are glued to game of thrones and breaking bad.

Because of the inverse square law, radio waves spread as they leave the earth to fill in the large space they begin to inhabit and therefore become indistinguishable from background noise only a few light years from earth.

Receiving equipment is capable of filtering out macroscopic variations in radio noise to isolate a signal.

If our astronomers can see, (using radio telescopes) the difference's between the frequency of hydrogen and helium gas (that is not deliberately sending a signal) at billions of light years. Perhaps intelligent alien life has at least similar capabilities
