I've never had that kind of problem with Monopoly, euchre, or basketball.
Maybe the problem is the kind of games you "need" ?

Xbox has definitely lost this console generation compared to PlayStation. I bought a PS4 last month and have barely turned my Xbox on. I don't expect that to change soon.
