Given how much the right hates Democratic women, I'm automatically giving them more positive attention. And that specifically includes Elizabeth Warren who annoys *45 no end. But sadly this story appeared in the Guardian not in a major US news outlet. This shows the sad state of the American news media which is focused in the wrong direction.

But I do like this idea and hope to see it developed further.

Under the legislation, corporations with more than $1bn in annual revenue would be required to obtain a corporate charter from the federal government – and the document would mandate that companies not just consider the financial interests of shareholders.


Instead, businesses would have to consider all major corporate stakeholders – which could include workers, customers, and the cities and towns where those corporations operate.

I don't have any interest in her at all and wouldn't support her but I would definitely get roped into discussions about why yankee liberals aren't socialists.

She's not my cup of tea either, so I'm hoping that the Dems come up with someone other than her for 2020.

Hello. I think a Biden/Booker ticket could beat Trump/Pence.

I like Warren and Sanders but I think they are too ahead of their time (for the US) - the corrosive poison of nationalism and individualism to too strong here still, IMHO.

As for the Charter, it would be challenged in the courts if it ever got that far.

As for the Candidate, I'd vote for her.
