Ken Ham: Climate Change Isn’t a Big Deal Since Noah Dealt With a Global Flood

Obviously Ken plans on being aboard the next ark.

In any case, how about a "stupid beyond belief", T-shirt Ken?

"Earlier this month, famed naturalist Sir David Attenborough told a Parliament select committee that elected officials “cannot be radical enough in dealing with” the problem of climate change. They need to take more drastic action, he argued.

Creationist Ken Ham isn’t a fan of Attenborough. He regards all of the man’s narrated documentaries as “evolutionary propaganda programs.” But what does Ham think about the seriousness of climate change?

He doesn’t. He never thinks. Instead, he says that we’ve been through climate changes before, therefore it’s not going to be a problem in the future.

… there’s been climate change in the past. Of course, the biggest climate change was the global flood of Noah’s day about 4,350 years ago. This flood destroyed the world that then was and upset the climate, including creating the perfect conditions for an ice age following the flood. The world has been settling down since that flood.

Good god, the man’s ignorance is going to destroy our entire species.

While he acknowledges that we must take care of what (he thinks) God created, he dismisses all talk of climate change as “alarmist” and driven by agendas and grants, not actual science… Even though real scientists — the kind who would never step foot in one of Ham’s attractions except to mock it — are well aware of the unique threat we’re currently facing. Somehow, Ham insists he knows better than scientists whose entire careers are dedicated to dealing with the environment.

Maybe the scariest thing is that Ham’s article, like so many of them, was “written with the assistance of AiG’s research team.” He needed help to spread this much ignorance. Not that we should be surprised that the Answers in Genesis researchers don’t know what they’re talking about. It’s the prerequisite to working for Ham.

I wonder if he thinks his own ark will do the job of saving 8 people and about 20 million animals?

And that's a bad thing, the worse climate change can do in our opinion is kill off the Human species, overall that would be a good thing for the earth.

Climate change has been a reoccurring phenomena since the creation of the earth, in all cases, except for perhaps the Neanderthals, humans have adapted to it.

Is the climate change of today, something more sinister ? perhaps. Can mankind reverse the current climate change trend ? I don´t see how as things stand today.

Every climate change demand is made to the US and Western Europe, and China, India, and Russia are ignored.

Already the US and Western Europe have slashed their carbon emissions, the others, the greatest polluters on earth have done virtually nothing.

I think it is better to be focused on survival methodologies and not those of prevention.

These great polluters, and others not so great, will not come willingly into an enforceable agreement to cut their emissions, and that will be a decades long project, if it ever happens.

Perhaps he attended the same school as Orel Puppington.
I recall an episode....
Doughy: Hey, Orel, what did you get for question #2 on the science test.
Orel: Jesus.

I love your viewpoint,Skwim! You win an award. Why don't the anti-climate change people even care about their own descendants? Their own children and grandchildren will suffer because of their hardheartedness. But that's today's good "Christians". No respect for the world they say God created. As usual,I don't mean the good Christians. They do exist.

And I'm so glad to see that the American "Christian" ethic is being followed someone from Australia--NOT. Now he can carry it back to Australia and we'll have more horrible people in the world.

I think that, eventually, China will have to change. People are getting sick walking around in air pollution. Sooner or later, something has to give.

This exactly. Climate change is a way to beat the West over the head. Worse, it's used as an excuse for immigration, legal or otherwise.

Ocasio-Cortez blames Illegal Immigration on "Climate Change"

Yes, seriously. "It's so hot in Mexico that they're moving north!" And "It's so hot in Africa and Middle East that they're moving to Europe." Yeah, only I suppose all the Canadians are so cold that they want to be in America? Let's talk about what climate change is really about. A UN/EU-funded control system involving mass migration and land grabs by big government.

We have been burning wood for about a million years. We have been burning coal for a few centuries at least. Somehow these big smoky things didn't manage to destroy the world.

Meanwhile, leftist "environmentalists" managed to ruin our oceans since my dad was a kid (born in 1950s) by packaging everything with plastic. And let's talk about the ultimate leftists (communists).

I tend to agree with you.

Marx´s workers paradise can only be achieved by centralizing control of the entire society in one central government. Once accomplished the people have no recourse but to suffer through whatever the government decides they must. Consider Cuba, Venezuela, the USSR, China and other totalitarian, oops ! I mean socialist countries.

Climate change has become a supreme tool in the arsenal of the left to establish more and more government control.

In the name of climate change they can exert control over the economy, the choices of the people, industry, agriculture, virtually anything they can choose.

Of course, ad the people become more and more docile under this program, where they are given orders continuously to ¨stop climate change¨.

The idea that the government knows what is best, and they should be given the authority to do whatever they deem is best for the people, will become ingrained, the revolution is complete without firing a shot.

This is why many are skeptical, and why they are not clear that all these demanded efforts will have any effect.

Science ,in my view, has not made a clear case as to whether climate change can now be reversed by man.

LIke many other things the left tries to do, this could very well be just a poorly aimed kneejerk reaction TO DO SOMETHING.

We see the same with ¨ gun control¨. They want to ¨do something¨ pass more laws, that will not change the dynamics of the problem, and will be harmful in the long run.
