Most people are unable to pinpoint the meaning of Christian establishment in the world. The English background makes people from a naturally Anglican background. The Anglican compromise already put Government over solid control over the apparatus of established Religion. Anglicanism/via media/secularism these are a lot of ways to say that.

The separable and promotable institutions of Christianity are hard to pinpoint. We read from the very first Anglican wedding vows how Christ attended a marriage in Canaan? Jesus Ordered Christians not to divorce their wives. Their hearts were hard when Moses Allowed divorce and Jesus did not Allow divorce, and that word is given to whom its not given to act as eunuchs , for the Kingdom of God, in Matthew.

The Christian institution does not exist as the Roman or Hellenistic Gods did in an all-absorbing all-comers equal knowledge environment , or at least not to the same historical extent. The 10 commandments that preserved the land of Israel state, in there, no God shall be worshipped before God.

This is before the undisputed work of Jesus Christ to redeem as an advocate toward , without colorful language, the vengeful Creator whom all humanity has original sin of the fall of Adam and Eve, and to inherit as would be understood, the rights as like a family, to the Kingdom of Heaven which is God's alone.

We may briefly review how it is that we can Stand for their to be Denominations of a religion. How can people Stand it?! How can their be but only One belief in Jesus Christ?! How did a Denomination ever come about?! Do we not have a populace that yearns for the undivided group of followers? How is it that a Pope can claim this effort?

The Pope claims to hold office from Saint Peter who was granted "keys to the Kingdom". Most Presbyterians and Orthodox instead favor "Saint Andrew" the "First-called", brother of Saint Peter. The Pope in order to have Thrown Off and disclaimed the other half of the Church, had to have named himself the Only Church, then he placed himself not in an equal meeting with the others. These decisions did produce relevant schisms still today. The Ethiopians used to be aligned with the Coptics of Egypt, these all very historical people, whom disregarded the rulings of the 400's in Egypt and Ethiopia. The Scots Confession of 1560 also notes the heresies of Nestorius, Arius, and others whom disregard those rulings. Arius found favor among the disorganized Visigothic tribes during the fall of Rome.

So this video has several nice features. It offers a fairly abstract idea about, how the Orthodox could repair the one Catholic or Universal Church of all Christians. They suggest the recapture of Rome, Antioch, Jerusalem, would allow promotion of the Pentarchy, which simply puts the Bishop of Rome back among equals and in equal council and anyone who must meet is no longer infallible, we can assume.

Late in the video shows off the basic concept of Autocephaly. Besides the Pentarchy, the mended Great Schism has produced autocephaly in the non-standard area of that Pentarchy set out by the Byzantines, such as, the autocephalic Kingdoms of Poland, and Hungary, whose Bishop would meet representing that would meet or "synod" representing that area and its religious history.

Presbyterian is a Greek Word. In the 1500's the Byzantine Empire would have been conquered by the Ottomans. The Greek Scholars by necessity flee with the actual history, education, and concepts of the Byzantines, the obscure name for that was humanist renaissance, not humanism. The name tries to describe having multiple educational histories and innovating, opening the student's minds and learning by the debates of Socrates over rote memorization learning.

John Calvin as a school of thought in Europe had made a thoughtful sermon on every chapter of the Bible, purposefully for sermonizing, on every single chapter of the Bible. This represents Knowledge spreading to all the people. not all of John Calvin's works were Ever translated from French to English. Every realm of society was meant to have the knowledge of their station to Biblical principle and rejoicing in knowledge.

The history of corrupt indulgence produced a maligned theory focusing , in Many verses and Chapters, on the Offspring of God, how God predetermined to Know whom was saved, which is no magic bullet, its no magic shot in the arm, it supposes that through obedience over the debased and sinful nature, God is leading the way through a fate of his Choosing, whom all Should be pre-ordained, I've never heard one confirmation to this extremely Hopeful ideology, of exclusion to populations, nations, or entire races. What is our Place as Americans in this Christian World? Is it disguised? People with enough experience in Europe know how awfully different it is. The established religion of these places stands for their history, their people, a standing of its Church in relation to other peoples and inseparable. Other experiences and histories, could be a challenge to the people of Europe in every country the missionary visits, those are 1000 year old Churches.

Most of Christian identity has been forged by warfare with the Pagan and the Muslim. The Covenant demanded the return of Reformed Religion in Scotland, England, and Ireland. The Scottish were eventually victorious in the Bishops' War, which however, would prelude Civil War throughout the Three Kingdoms.

Reformed Religion had also seen development during Elizabeth's reign in England, again, under a different name the Puritans. The Puritans sought full Reform of the Church of England, which may have even backslided since Elizabeth had removed statues in the Churches in favor of the royal arms of England. They counted any and all practices not in the Bible as superstitious, a list that could include candles to Christmas.

In fact in 1648, the Puritan Parliament at odds with King Charles who had assumed a Catholic government over England. The Scottish Bishops war would be seen as a prelude to the Covenanters invasion in the North of England attacking King Charles' Royalists. Oliver Cromwell would appear as the leader of the Puritan Parliaments' forces roughly confederate with the Covenanter Army.

However, Oliver Cromwell's forces would become rather self-appointed as time moved toward an insular outlook that defeat both the Scots and Dutch, though worse by far is Catholic persecution in Ireland.

Common law today disallowed Catholic rulers of the very ceremonial Monarchy. The Presbyterians had been summoned by the Puritan Parliament and together had signed to Westminster London the Puritans' new Westminster Confession.


With this history, the Religious history of the United States becomes much clearer. The celebrated Puritan Pilgrims, seem a distant icon, and their religion has become truly unattainable. It seems to suggest that to have placed Religion above the State in leaving England, to be a Pilgrim leaving for American colonies, is unattainable. It seems that the Mayflower , the Mayflower Compact, John Winthrop, and Reagan's "City Upon a Hill" are hardly relevant. Had Andrew Jackson seen a Christian Character of Civilization in the Indians then a direction of development that could include them rather than form the Trail of Tears ran in large detail.

So we see how when George Washington declared independence we have several reasons to proclaim a switch back to Presbyterianism rather than Anglicanism. The Anglican Clergy had in fact sailed across the sea in fright! The King and Queen were such heads of Religion in that practice to make "Little Bo Peep" a political statement. The Puritan outlook was overwhelming in some colonies around Boston to have illegalized Christmas. There were existant Puritan "alcoves" into the 1700's , though, noted, they had assimilated at the time of the Revolution, its widely believed.

I may say the media unfair, obviously, but humanity may demand notice to to other peoples, the living, for instance. Nowhere can we truly find this singular goal of EITHER Slavery or States RIghts. So what can we singularly make of our unique American experience today having had 5 of a Christian population shouting Christian over 1 fifth of that other screaming Christian population? What is the right situation today? Why would it be arrived at with any flippancy?

The international world remarks with our unique amazing qualities. The war amendments , the 13th and 14th, disallow return of the Confederates ( not a Union government at that point). I don't have much time, but thanks for posting your beliefs on this.

As far as the above is concerned, it's simply wrong in some parts. The "Bishop of Rome" was recognized in the 2nd Century church as being the one's bishops would go to if there were controversies and disputes that needed to be settled, and that clearly shows up in Ignatius' (of Antioch) letter to Clement (of Rome) saying that the Bishop of Rome had a certain priority because it is where Peter and Paul were executed. Even though the title "Pope" wasn't used until centuries later, only that bishop had the designation of such leadership.

And it is Peter ("Kephas" in Koine Greek, who was changed by Jesus to that name, obviously for a reason), whom is designated by Jesus as being "Rock", which is what "Kephas" translates out to in Koine Greek. At the beginning of that verse, Jesus makes it clear that he's referring to Kephas with "Thou art Peter [Kephas}, and upon that rock... ". And there is a play on words (i.e. "Petros" and "petra") that's involved since Greek is gender sensitive.

It was understood back then that the true church was the Church of Jesus and the Apostles, and all other groups were deemed heretical. In the first two centuries, different names for the Church existed over that span of time, starting with "the Way", then "Christian", and then "Orthodox" (truth) and "Catholic" (universal), but when we get into the 3rd century "Catholic" begins to be most commonly used as its formal name. "Orthodox" wasn't used as a formal name until the Great Schism many centuries later.

The "mark" of the early Church was whether one's bishops (episcopo) could trace their appointments back to the apostles, and it was this [Catholic] Church that eventually decided upon the canon used by the vast majority of Christians worldwide today.

If we bring together all the major over 1 million centers of Presbyterianism as a side-effect of British Empire, or American, or British Mission, or all three, then Koreans would have, as a result of these conspiracies, over Half of the entire Presbyterian Communion today.

The Belhar Confession has the PCUSA disclaiming the Communion format of the worldwide Presbyterian Church, in favor of their Indivisible , second protestant reformation, "Always Reforming", outlook.

This would mean where as every Orthodox and Reformed Church in the World now has its own religious heritage safeguarded in the United States, that the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad came into existence in 1972 through its own sheer will and funding.

As far as the above is concerned, it's simply wrong in some parts. The "Bishop of Rome" was recognized in the 2nd Century church as being the one's bishops would go to if there were controversies and disputes that needed to be settled, and that clearly shows up in Ignatius' (of Antioch) letter to Clement (of Rome) saying that the Bishop of Rome had a certain priority because it is where Peter and Paul were executed. Even though the title "Pope" wasn't used until centuries later, only that bishop had the designation of such leadership.

And it is Peter ("Kephas" in Koine Greek, who was changed by Jesus to that name, obviously for a reason), whom is designated by Jesus as being "Rock", which is what "Kephas" translates out to in Koine Greek. At the beginning of that verse, Jesus makes it clear that he's referring to Kephas with "Thou art Peter [Kephas}, and upon that rock... ". And there is a play on words (i.e. "Petros" and "petra") that's involved since Greek is gender sensitive.

It was understood back then that the true church was the Church of Jesus and the Apostles, and all other groups were deemed heretical. In the first two centuries, different names for the Church existed over that span of time, starting with "the Way", then "Christian", and then "Orthodox" (truth) and "Catholic" (universal), but when we get into the 3rd century "Catholic" begins to be most commonly used as its formal name. "Orthodox" wasn't used as a formal name until the Great Schism many centuries later.

The "mark" of the early Church was whether one's bishops (episcopo) could trace their appointments back to the apostles, and it was this [Catholic] Church that eventually decided upon the canon used by the vast majority of Christians worldwide today.

What if the whole crisis is about promoting the idea that every Church here is divided by schism and none of the Churches here are pre-ordained divided by Autocephaly, like Horace Underwood easily proclaimed the separation of the Korean Church without innovations or divisions. I can't have made the initiative on their campus for any of the problems that face me at any time. What Presbyterianism has done is produce chaotic insanity.
