I used to watch an anime called Cardcaptor Sakura. It was about a girl who found a magic book with cards that have special powers. I wanted to be her so bad growing up. I used to pretend to find magical books in my attic and use playing cards to "capture" the spirits.

She wasn't the main character but Tangina from Poltergeist was pretty cool.

(Of course, it wasn't, but we'll pretend it was. (Lol, her hair.))

Frank Bannister from the Frighteners is my other favorite film psychic, especially after he stopped ripping people off in the film. Lol.

Lydia from Beetlejuice counts as one, too.

Real human bones were used in the ending of the first 'Poltergeist' movie. It's no wonder its movie set was cursed.
