Hey Frank, hope you’re doing well.
Only Jehovah & Jesus know what’s in a person’s heart, ie., their real motives.
What do we think about them?
Well, Jesus accepted the plea of the evildoer impaled beside him, didn’t he? Apparently, the evildoer changed his attitude….remember that earlier, he was making fun of Jesus.
So it can happen. Who are we to judge a person who’s at the end of their life, and tell if they are genuine or not? Only God & Jesus — & the person him/herself — know that.
