I thought it was free for Wally that he chose her. I know the cost is ridiculous but they say they're doing it o in the future it can be used for the good of earth;to find medicine vaccines for diseases or materials from other planets that can be used better here or building materials or other stuff that can be used to make earth better.

Well I watched it, and noticed a 20 sec or so lag on the official site from that shown on TV. But this, and the other two (Musk and Branson), looks more like publicity stunts than the future of spaceflight. Why would we leave this sort of stuff to private enterprise? Still, I won't be around to see anything other than a return to the moon most likely.

I have no inherent beef with private enterprise - look at all the cost cutting that has happened with reusable parts for launches. These two launches on the other hand look like vanity projects intended to sell seats to the mega rich who have something else to enjoy.
