And for those that don't know why this thread exists, it is of course "tradition" How eating Chinese food became a Jewish Christmas tradition - and it might take some work for people to get the humor. One example Houses of Hillel and Shammai - Wikipedia

This made me literally laugh out loud! I understood the humor because I already knew about the ‘tradition,’ and I had read some of a text that this imitates many, many years ago. I especially liked the statement that mentions won ton soup.
