Physics lets us know how nature came to be. Goddidit posits no mechanism whatever, and cites no evidence. It's an assertion of agency. It 'lets us know' nothing.

But the religious don't know how nature came to be. They've had their theology for thousands of years, yet never achieved any understanding of physics or cosmogeny. "God" does not even attempt to explain the Big Bang or the development of nature. Goddidit: is not an explanation.

You're a God believer, Questor. Do you claim to be well versed in theoretical physics or cosmogeny? Does your theology teach physics?

These are not "items". They are imaginary concepts for which there is no evidence or rational argument.

No he isn't. God explains nothing. He is a mere assertion and just adds an extra layer of unexplained complexity to the problem.
I can just as easily claim that "nature has always existed in some form". Go on. Prove me wrong. It is exactly the same as your argument, but it eliminates the need for a god, for whom there is no explanation. Therefore it s a better explanation.

You seem even more confused than usual.
You are just as ignorant of the origin of the stuff the universe is made of as atheists. In fact, more so because you ignore science in favour of superstition.
By claiming that god is responsible for everything, you are rejecting all the known scientific, natural explanations we have for most stuff. Which is just crazy.
