People can follow whichever religion they like. Race isn't or shouldn't be a factor.

There are racist idiots out there, we know this.

Perhaps they don't see skin colour as relevant to the matter.

    It shouldn't. Is it?

Because Odin has nothing to do with Judaism or Islam.

A jew or Muslim wouldn't follow Odin cuz they a jew or Muslim. Many religions have racists in it. It has nothing to do with the religion or the god rather folk using religion as an excuse to be racist. People are jerks. It's unfortunate for sure. I wish racism didn't exist.

Also my religion has nothing to do with race as a pagan witch luciferian.

I agree, but why is it considered racist for Whites to follow a White wargod instead of another races wargod?

Jews certainly refer to themselves as the chosen people and consider themselves to be a separate, unique race

It depends on their motivation. It's a known trend that white supremacists get into Nordic pagan mythology. That doesn't mean all white people who do are white supremacists.

My response was to your question "why would White people claim and follow a religion made by non-Whites."

It's not a race thing as anyone can convert, regardless of heritage.

    This.

Nordic pagan mythology was misappropriated by Nazis as a way of mythologizing the "Aryan race" as superior. The modern white supremacists continue to do.

    White supremacists are ignorant.

I have seen a video where a professor in Norse paganism get into a hour long lecture about this. It's crazy the history. I do intend to look at more sources on this topic.

Also Thor is mixed kinda. He's half Jotun half Aesir. And they tend to use him slaying jotun as a way to justify racism.

As a Sufi Muslim, I have nothing against people who believe in Thor or Odin, I am Norwegian so I grew up with the history of Thor and Odin, but their teaching never felt right to me. I think it is much more important to embrace all people instead of single out some groups of believers and harras the heck out of them because they believe something different.

It's that the nazis love Norse gods, not that Norse religion is racist.

Probably because they didn't have notions of race back then like we do. Such as, Germanic Paganism did spread around where the Vikings spread. The Celts spanned from the Briton Isles, Iberian Peninsula, even into Asia Minor. They didn't have race/ethnicity like we know, though they did recognize different tribes. The Germanic tribes were the same. Ethnically, it basically the same when seeing "the Ottoman Turks," despite that including more than just Turkish peolle and did include white Eurpeans.

    Following Odin...per se...isn't racist.
There are plenty of non-racist pagans. Then there are the others...

Don’t the Aryan Brotherhood favour Viking tattoos, imagery etc? So maybe Norse Gods have that association.
