Even Doctor Fauci and the head of WHO, were downplaying the threat as another flu.

The first Government policy change, to limit the virus, was Trump stopping flights to and from China. If you recall the Democrats and Fake News called this xenophobia. This faux reassurance delayed the action of the America people. Pelosi even invited America to come to China Town SF to spite the president. I remember myself downplaying the virus, sense the majority of the articles and opinions from the specialists and main stream media were downplaying the threat.

This coordinated push against the president then cause the governors in many Democrat run states, to not read the writing on the walls. The butcher of NY, governor Cuomo, ignored the early CDC guideline data, that the elderly were the most venerable and placed younger corona virus patients in nursing homes This was the worse policy decision of the pandemic. Fake news has since tried to cover this up by ignoring it.

Do you also remember Trump coming to the rescue, providing support to all the states including the butcher states. Obama and Biden had left the stockpiles of PPE depleted and had sent manufacturing of these supplies to China. Trump had to improvise, but came through. The governors are on record, thanking Trump for not letting them lay in their own vomit. Trump cares for all the people, even the back stabbers. Trump was ahead of the curve, when the curve was not yet drawn, so the arm chair quarterbacks could revise the game.
