Israel-Gaza : The threat of escalation

Today, January 7th, three months since the horrific terrorist attack, The Times of Israel reports:

White House officials are concerned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could initiate a full-blown war against the Hezbollah terror group in Lebanon in order to save his own political career, according to a Sunday report.
“If the Gaza war ends tomorrow, Netanyahu’s political career will end with it, incentivizing him to broaden the conflict,” anonymous US officials told The Washington Post.

Not only would the Netanyahu reign likely end, but he could very well find himself in jail.

2024 frightens me.

israelis right wing are the few that must have the mount to build a temple.

Iran put the initial 'red line' down; thou shalt not touch the al aqsa.

Trying to pick a fight with iranian backed groups, is what that mess is about.

But of course israelis do not have the back bone to take on iran directly.

Israel is having a hard time even fighting HAMAS within their own lands. Calling it a war, when it is just a small group with no country. Hezbollah is just a small group too but without an open fight, israel cannot beg US for more money.
