As-salamu alaykum!

Ok, I'm looking for some help in what to read/where to research about Islamic Mysticism. I know it exists, I know it has some stigma with some of the Islamic orthodoxy and I know it's not necessarily synonymous with Sufism either.
What suggestions have you got?
