YAH of course. The one and only sent Him and He took Him. 3 in 1 purose only. So The Holy Spirit some how splits up into how ever many believers? I don't believe this. More like each person gets his or her own messenger. YAHshua leaves His Fathers right hand to come down to earth and reign for a thousand years. YAH sit's on His Throne in Heaven. Theres no 3 in 1 except in mind in purpose. :banghead3

Ok victor now we are getting somewhere! So we now add little cute pixies to the Trinity. You did not say HOW MANY PIXIES but lets assume two ( for the sake of discussion) now we have a QUADINITY.
Re-write the scriptures! Wherever it alludes to a "TRINITY" insert" QUADINITY".
    SLAM DUNK!
    GAME OVER!
    THE DEFENSE RESTS YOUR HONOR!!!!

Well, I believe in a Godhead comprised of three divine beings who share the title of God, and who are perfectly and absolutely "one" in their divine attributes. I just don't believe that they are physically a single invisible substance. If the early (i.e. Apostolic era) Christians believed exactly the same thing about God as the Christians after Nicea, what need was there for a new Creed to "clarify" things? Please don't tell me it was to quash the Arian controversy. For starters, even the Pope didn't apparently seem to feel that a Council was critical at that time, since he didn't convene one. Constantine was the one to whom it was a big deal, and he personally didn't give a damn about which way the vote went.

Pretty good, if you take it no further than that.

    MY BAD!
    My math sucks!
2 Pixies plus a Trinity should equal 5 in one (not a QUADINITY as I previously stated) So VICTOR your "TRINITY" should be, in fact, a QUINTINITY!!

I Believe the question is: Is Trinity in the Bible? No. The word trinity is not in the bible. Use any concordance in the world, and you will find that the word trinity in reference to God is not in there. The bible never calls Jesus"God the Son" ,never. But the idea of 3 persons that make up 1God is only a misunderstanding. First of all, the word God in Hebrew is Elohim. You will find that Elohim is a singular word. Also the bible states that there is only one God. Eph. 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. This one God is the Father, who is above all. This Father also created all things because he is God. And we can look at Gen1:1 In the beginning God (Father) created the heaven and the earth. 1 Cor. 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and we by him. Paul states that we have one God, who is the Father.
The scripture cannot contradict itself. One God=The Father. We see in a few scriptures that God is above all, and he is the Father.

"Opeople of the book (Jews and Christians)! commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was [no more or less than] a messenger of Allah, and His word, which he bestowed upon Mary, and a spirit preceding from Him: so believe in Allah and his messengers. Say not "Three": desist!, it is better for you, for Allah is one god, Glory be to Him, Far exalted is He above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and the earth. And enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs."
    (Holy Qur'an4:171)

    In the Bible we read:
    1. "Know therefore this day, and consider [it] in thine heart, that the LORD he [is] God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: [there is] none else." Deuteronomy 4:39.
    2. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3
    3. "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name [is] Jealous, [is] a jealous God:" Exodus 34:14
    4. "Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no savior." Isaiah 43:10-11.
    5. "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God." Isaiah 44:6
    6. "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else." Isaiah 45:6
    7. "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else." Isaiah 45:18.
    8. "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else." Isaiah 45:22
    Respectively, Yasin:bounce

How you manage to get around the reality that there is ONE God is beyond me. God projects Himself in 3 persons [The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit]. How he manages to do this is like asking for details on how he could walk on water. You know full well no man can explain that to you. But you still insist for someone to explain what they cannot.

So what? What does that prove Katzpur? Emperors were always involved in Church affairs. Nothing new.

Ok, explain to me how in LDS theology they can be the same God? I'm all ears.

The problem with TRUTH is it is TOO SIMPLE for some people! To believe that GOD, JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT are 3 distinct, seperate and unequal....why that is just not "INTELLECTUAL" enough for some ELITEISTS. I guess a subject has to be completely impossible to explain....and then the really "SMART" among us can cling to that and show the rest of us "DUNCES" how spiritually "Immature" we are for believing such "UNENLIGHTENED DRIVEL."

I was not directing that comment to any individual. It was an observation that I have made when discussing the topic with different ones. Fact and reason get swept aside for emotionalism, and intellectualism.
You know your in for a losing battle when you present facts to support your side and those facts are met with this typical response:" It is an unexplainable mystery that GOD has helped me to come to terms with in my heart."
You just cant combat that rock solid logic!!:banghead3

I wasn't going to reply because I wanted to see the ones that are of the all knowing crowd here reply first but I see that it isn't going to or hasn't as yet and I tired of waiting on it so I will just go ahead and state that what "LongWindedPreacher" stated, with the exception of the names other than the Hebrew, I agree with 100%. Its undeniable 100% TRUTH> Frubals to you.............

    http://christiananswers.net/dictionary/trinity.html

    http://bible-truth.org/Trinity.html

There are many sites that address the trinity concept. Here are a couple if anyone wants to study it. I believe in one God, but a tri-une God. It is a difficult concept, like trying to know all about the ocean from just a cup of it, impossible. We do have the Bible, oh, and the word bible is not in the Bible, but we still use it, anyway, and the Bible if one believes it to be God's Word, sheds some light on the subject. Again, if anyone really wants some good info, check out the sites above. The first is short, the second more in depth, but sound Biblical doctrine.

    Thanks,

    Mike
