Feel free to make a thread about it in the Atheist DIR, or Religious Debates area if you wish to debate it with religious people. In order to gain access to the Atheist DIR, as you say you are an atheist, you need to check that option on your profile.

I'm fairly conversant with RF, and I've never heard of what you're talking about.
But it sounds interesting to me. Do take Rival's advice if you'd like.

    Welcome to RF!

    Welcome to RF, @shane

    It _is_ something worth discussing.

This seems to be a good summary, from a source with good reputation.

Freedom of Speech and Offence: The ACA and Rationality Rules

I take it that you are aware of his response?

Personally, I would favor using one of the debates area. As of late I have felt the DIRs to be far too constraining for confort.

In any case, while I have not watched either video, I largely agree with Patheos' Jonathan Pearce: the controversy should be acknowledged, but it is not necessarily worth losing much sleep about.
