Is the left hand the right hand?

If the right side of the brain controls the left hand. Then are most the people here actually useing their left side of their brain?o_O

I have no particular attachment to the term "Left Hand Path". It's kind of a weird label that doesn't have a strong meaning. The concept behind it is that most people are right handed, therefore, left handed people are in the minority. It's the same thing as "alternative religion", which is really an even worse term as it reduces Satanism to a fad. I used to be obsessed with being "left" with everything, deviating from the norm, but I've realized that I don't have to call myself left hand path and adhere to a left wing political philosophy.

If I were you I would check out the other thread here regarding what all the Left Hand Paths are exactly.

I guess it kind of shows that you can't have light without dark, no ying without yang ect.

On a more medical note; left and right brain 'thinking' is more pop science than actual science. Both sides of the brain are capable of, and frequently do, do the mental aspects of what the other side is said to do in popular knowledge. I used to think there was a lot of truth to the "right brained" and "left brained" thinking concept but it doesn't really hold up to any scrutiny. At best there is a slight inclination but it's not really relevant from what I understand.

But back to my first statement... it is known (I'm pretty sure) in a scientifically valid light, that the muscle controls for the left side of our brain is on our right side and vice versa. That's why brain damage on one side can cause paralysis on the other. It's the "this side is artistic and this side is mathematical" kind of ideas that aren't very true.

It's just his opinion; seems like a rather reasonable position to not feel emotionally attached to labels. Who wants to be defined by a label?

In the WLHP circles I travel within, there is a term called Primacy of Darkness passed down from the Fraternitas Saturni and it embraces the idea of understanding that there are no dualities , that this is an illusion, that everything is unique unto itself. Dualty is a convenience of thought used to explain the objective universe.

Here is a video that I found that might be useful on Left hand and Left wing they are entirely different subjects.

In my own view I wouldn't consider the Left Hand Path or the Right hand Path to be weird Labels, as a matter of fact I would personally consider those paths to be key ingredients by understanding religion and philosophy. I personally never understood why some people would view the Left hand path and the right hand path to be dualistic, The Left Hand Path is not based on dualism, the right hand path might be entirely different.

Over the years I have learned to separate, for the most part, my religious beliefs from my politics. When it comes to my religion one can call me "Left-Hand Path", politically speaking though I am libertarian -- socially liberal/left and economically conservative/right. I am proud to say I support Donald Trump for president this time around, however, in the last presidential election I couldn't stand Romney or Obama.

I personally do not get involved in politics or the media unlike my father, I more or less consider myself to be lightly democratic but I do not consider myself to be a socialist to that extent.

Hey Sutekh. Now days I have a kind of love/hate relationship with politics. I like Trump and his style because to me he is a master chaos magickian, whether he realizes it or not. He is able to mold in accordance with his own will mass opinion of himself, despite what the media and political correctness politicians futilely attempt to portray him as. This is the year of the anti-politician. This is one of the ways Trump will win the presidency of the United States, in my opinion.

I would more or less consider it to be lesser magic, it would be quite interesting if we had a president who is a satanist. However its not likely going to happen in reality to that extent but it would be interesting. Well said by the way.

So a demagogue is your ideal candidate? He's a classic example of a narcissist and I'm not just saying that... big members of the American Psychiatric Association basically said they are using videos of him as a case study to show students because he's so classic in his symptoms and hiring actors to be as good as him at portraying it would be much harder.

Just because someone can mold people's opinions of him with the least common deniminators does *not* make him a good candidate or necessarily a good magician. It just means he's good at marketing. He's basically played this election cycle like a reality show (as some commentators have noticed). So I guess in a way he is smart enough to realize that that strategy would work, but that doesn't really give him much merit since in the end it's all about his name and ego.

Also his draconian policies and penchant for wanting to make decisions without an informed understanding of the situation will be liabilities for us particularly in foreign policy, not assets. His style will be determinable to foreign affairs. It mgiht make for what some find to be appealing speeches but it's not any style anyone should have when leading a country. He's basically admitted to being an authoritarian which I would think anyone LHP should be against. I used to be a libertarian and I can assure you as one I wouldn't of ever supported someone against curbing so many freedoms and liberties in the name of "security".

He supported Hillary in 08' btw.

Anyways that's my opinion. I'm not attempting to start a debate but offering my own perspective on the matter.
