Not much of a surprise someone else has paid attention to the same thing. I've heard much more farfetched ideas too though, some from archaeologists. One interesting idea was that the garden actually referred to a certain royal garden and that Adam was Herbew king, but I've never checked the sources for it so don't take it as a fact.Nah, that interpretation has been floating around for a long, long time. There was no serpent as far as many of us are concerned.
'To eat the forbidden fruit' in Hebrew is a phrase meaning to commit adultery, I believe. So Eve, 'ate the fruit' and conceived Cain, who was a fraternal twin to Abel. Also we have the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, but as we all know: 'to know' in Biblical terms means to have sexual relations with. Thirdly, the word was 'hiss' 'whisper' &c, in Hebrew if I recall, which can also mean to seduce.
So yes, the 'serpent' (hiss!) seduced Eve, so she 'ate the forbidden fruit' and 'gained knowledge'.

Will you please explain how Jesus was a Lucifer?I guess it might help if I answered the OP instead of babbling?
To me the Serpent of Eden was definitely Lucifer, pointing out that their Father is a liar and if they were to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil they would not die, but would become consciously aware of themselves and have the ability to become a god as well.
Satan in this story is the aspect of Lucifer thrown out of heaven, damned to rule the physical realm.
As for some of the Lucifers throughout history: Prometheus, Mercury, Hermes, Thoth, Woden, and Jesus to name a few of the top of my head.
Will you please explain how Jesus was a Lucifer?
To me it sounds more like you are equating a Lucifer with a Seraph.
My understanding is a Lucifer is someone on a left-hand path vs. a right-hand path.
Please help clear things up for me.
In my opinion a Lucifer is someone that brings the Light of Gnosis to mankind and assists in our Conscious Awareness. Will you please explain how Jesus was a Lucifer?
