I do not know whether anyone has posted this link or not. So, I'll do again (just in case).

Neal Adams is a researcher of many sciences who has put together many short clips (at the link below) to show how OUR SOLAR SYSTEM IS GROWING! The video clips include, but are not limited to:
    • the expansion of Mars
    • the expansion of Earth, using the geological history of the movement of the continents
    • the expansion of Europa
    • the expansion of the Earth's moon
Neal Adams creates these videos to show other scientists and education-based TV programming.

I recommend that you watch the videos in order, as they explain how the science is formed to create these conclusions.

    Actually everything expands, even you..!
But I don't think it can be measured or showed that way

Our measuring instruments are also expanding...

The only way to prove the expansion is by Using Doppler effect on very far stars and galaxies...

Isn't Neal Adams a comic writter?

No Neal Adams is actually a well-respected researcher who has studied a broad variety of sciences.:D

Interesting. Rather poorly written, but certainly an interesting idea, although it's one that's been pretty well out of favor for some decades now. The main problem is the question of how the Earth's mass could continually increase at such a rate. It's too bad the article doesn't really address this, I'd be interested in knowing how that's explained. I think I recall reading somewhere else that the explanation is that the Earth is hollow...

This is the same Neal Adams, by the way. Not that being a comic written would affect your credentials, I just think it's interesting.

I am curious about his background, though, and what sort of research he's done. Any info on that?

So far I've been unable to find any actual research or scientific articles.

It had been a while since I had heard Neal Adams on the radio, but I looked up his information. I was wrong...he is the legendary cartoonist. HOWEVER, he claims to be self-studied in a broad variety of sciences. For what it's worth, he has an interesting theory.

It is an interesting idea, and not unheard of. It might be a good one if not for the problem of where the mass is coming from.

I've been reading up on his ideas, though, and some of what he seems to be proposing violates thermodynamics and shows a general misunderstanding of the theories he's criticizing. Mostly he sounds like someone who's read a lot and come up with some ideas he likes. More of his stuff here: http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/features/111120785925264.htm

He starts claiming that gravity doesn't exist and that there's this pre-matter you can't sense because it doesn't affect its surroundings (he then says it's dark matter, which you can sense because it does affect it's surroundings) which turns into matter, which is how the Earth keeps growing...it's all a bit sketchy.

Hummm.. Ok thanx... I will check that out. The only places that I had heard of Neal Adams or his theories were Coast to Coast AM talk radio, a link that someone sent me, and another forum that I go to regularly which has earthquake watchers and geologists who have debated his theories. Other than that, I have not checked his work. I didn't even realize he is the famous cartoonist.
