Is Marvel's superhero Luke Cage imagery too subtle or no?

Luke Cage, a superhero named after Luke 4:18, the fulfillment of the year of Jubilee where Jesus comes and quotes Isaiah which says:
'“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

Luke fights villains who are named Cottonmouth and Diamondback where Jesus in the book of Luke is the one who will crush the serpents head. Themes of Genesis 4 with two brothers like Cain and Able struggle, one good one evil.

Too subtle?
