The gospels tell the truth but everything Christians believe about Jesus coming back to earth goes completely against what the Bible says

The Bible indicates what year it was, for all those who want to know.

The Mission of Jesus on earth ended when He took His last breath.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

There is NOTHING in the Bible about another future Mission, it's just not there.

It would only be false prophet if Jesus had promised to return to earth, but He didn't.

    No.

Given an historical Jesus, there's a fair argument that he was a follower of John the Baptist and like John was essentially a preacher of the end times, that is, the imminence of God's direct intervention on earth to establish a world theocracy headed by the 'Son of Man', which appears to refer to Jesus himself.

    The central texts are ─

Mark 9:1 And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.”

Mark 13:28 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 30 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away before all these things take place.

Matthew 10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 16:28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”

Matthew 24:32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all these things take place.

Luke 9:27 But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”
That is, when the author of Mark included these ideas in his gospel around 75 CE, they were copied by the authors of Matthew and of Luke synoptically in the mid-80s CE.

Informatively, they don't appear in John (mid-90s CE). The inference is that the claims were no longer tenable so the Second Coming would have to be redescribed to fit the obvious fact that virtually no one who could have been in Jesus' audience was still alive.

And with the ordinary pragmatism of politics, no alternative date was specified.

So as it was in the beginning, it is now and ever shall be, the Second Coming is the day after mañana.
They've been saying it in every age for two thousand years, so I suggest you don't hold your breath.

So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Does this not mean Jesus? Is it and other Christ

But Jesus never said "He" was coming back to earth to do anything, which is moire than a small detail.

I am saying the Bible is an amazing wonderful life giving book, that is the Word of God, and that God does as God Wills, not as man wishes God to do.

It can be stated with a 100% Level of confidence that no one will ever again see the same flesh body of Jesus.

Of course, you are 100% free to have a great joyful time with that statement.

All the best, all the time, be happy.

    Regards Tony

No, it does not mean Jesus. Jesus said His work was finished here and He was no mire in the world.
That verse refers to Baha'u'llah who was the return of the Christ spirit, and the return of the Holy Spirit, as promised by Jesus.

    John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

What I find sad about this, is that it can actually harm people. Some folks sell all their possessions, quit their jobs, insult family members, refuse to consider any alternatives, and drag loved ones, including their own children along into their self created chaos. RF was witness to a young man insisting on it several years back. When it didn't happen, despite all his dire warnings, I believe he quit posting. Who knows what happened to him?

There are also often dire consequences to people (depression, even suicide) when it doesn't happen.

At the very least people shouldn't do anything dire until it does happen, which it won't.

That's true, unless Jesus lied or the Bible has errors, and if the Bible has errors why should we believe anything else it says?.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Most of those verses are from Christ's prayer for His Apostles, shortly before He was arrested and killed. That is what He is referring to with "I am no more in the world..." because He was about to be killed and His ministry was at an end.

No, Christ's Kingdom isn't an earthly one. When He returns, it will be the consummation (or completion) of the universe and Heaven and earth will be made one. This is hard to fathom and is described symbolically at the end of Revelation. He is not coming back to rule as some earthly king, as certain modern sects believe. When He returns, it will be the end of time. This could happen at any moment, but we do not know when.

That sounds like cognitive dissonance on your end, as what you posted goes against what the Bible says.
