Is it Possible for The Messiah to Stop the Destruction?

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."

The reference here is to death as a result of persecutions and Holocaust-like atrocities. The common death that comes as a result of old age or accidents will never stop or HaShem's Word is not worth believing. If you prefer to take Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:4 literally, wait until you experience an evidence for that matter. At least, say you have chosen to believe by faith. Sometimes it pays to be realistic for a change.

The so called messiah couldn't even stop his own destruction, so how cam you expect him to stop any other ?.

Very good Psychoslice! That's why I can't believe in the individual Messiah. The individual is born, lives his span of life and dies. Are we supposed to expect a new Messiah in every generation? Obviously not! The Messiah is not supposed to die but to remain as a People before the Lord forever. (Jeremiah 31:35-37)

Daniel 12:2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

So do you not believe in the Resurrection of the Dead? Or that God shall reign within Mount Zion? If not, not sure how you qualify as being Jewish?

Isaiah 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Yahweh of Armies will reign on Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem; and before his elders will be glory.
