@Hockeycowboy - what about diseases that have nothing to do with genetics? Diseases caused by obligate parasites, for instance?

No sickness implies no parasitic infections. No parasitic infections implies no obligate parasites (since they die without hosts). So where do you think they came from?

You wouldn't necessarily find the parents of babies born with disorders, more wicked than those who have babies who aren't.

- all else being equal, genetic disorders should increase in frequency over time.

We don't know what else may play a role.And It certainly doesnt seem to be the immediate generations following.

But the reduction in life spans as the Bible records, in those earliest generations from Adam & Eve, was partly a result of it.

Did Jeanne Calment descend from 'more righteous' people? We don't know...she did outlive her kids, so maybe her situation was a fluke. (Maybe her husband's line wasn't?)
