If something has no sentience or self awarenessI have a hard time using the word discriminate to describe anything done to it.

Thats not really any sort of prejudice, amd its nothing that will have a detrimental effecton the oven.I often discriminate against my oven and call it all sorts of names when i overcook something. The oven does not mind.
It's fine with me to discriminate against them.Would you say it is discrimination or racism to say no to Robots in the home or in the society?

You haven't heard the names i call it...
It is if i beat it with a stick ;-)
Well if a thing ask me to bite it i would just smile and say no thank youIt's fine with me to discriminate against them.
But what about non-caucasian bots?
You risk having one of them tell you to bite it's shiny metal....you know.
Well if a thing ask me to bite it i would just smile and say no thank you
Those things give me the creeps...
And you cannot discriminate against something that isn't a person
When my fiancée say to me, bite me, i ask where? So yes i met the right girl (human that is) I do not need robotsYou just haven’t met the right girl.

Tell that to my robot. It's always complaining about my discriminatory treatment of it.And you cannot discriminate against something that isn't a person
It would be a rhetorical question/command.Well if a thing ask me to bite it i would just smile and say no thank you
It would be a rhetorical question/command.
You're not obligated to obey.
(I never do.)
That would actually be a good rule - a declaration that robots should not be made in the image of humans - i.e. not have personhood attributed to themWhat about to avoid the granting of aspects of personhood to robots?
