Ditto. It is encouraging to know that theosis is the cruix of faith for some if not all. Or, could it be that the term is better known throughout Christianity and I am the one in the dark? I do feel that most of my Christian friends are seeking some type of union with God, whether or not they know the term theosis, but the meaning of union varies.

Anyway, Jon on his site is another that indicates that enlightenment is the same as theosis.
